    Hello all

I just wanted to say hello to all you great people. I go to the local baptist church, Galilee Baptist Church. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23;4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." I used to believe in the misguided cult of atheism but now I have began my journey to the path of Jesus.

    Re: Hello all

Welcome, friend. My heart rejoices that you have decided to turn your back on sin and instead cleave to Christ's bosom. It's nice to have our lives actually have meaning, instead of it just being a tedious series of self-inflicted degradations while we wait for God's mighty warrior angels to pull our sin-addled souls out of our dead carcasses and hurl them into the lake of fire. Having a moral compass is pretty nice too.

In what ways has your life taken a turn for the better since finding Jesus? In what manner of sin did you wallow before taking ahold of your spiritual bootstraps and making right with the LORD?
    II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

My life has been given direction and meaning once I began following our lord Jesus. Before this change I listen to sinful and satanic heavy metal, I played games the glorified violence and engaged in daily self abuse. This all changed one day when while listening to one of my then favorite heavy metal songs I felt a shiver, I assumed it was nothing, maybe just one of those random goosebumps moments you know? Well about a week later I noticed that I lashed out at people more often, I attributed this to stress and continued on with my sinful life. What really pushed me for this change was when I lost a hour of my life a week ago, some of my friends were saying I was muttering stuff in latin or some other language. I myself believe this to be the beginning of a possession I thought maybe if I turned my life back into the light that maybe I could nip this in the bud before I turn into a D&D playing, orgy participating vessel of Satan.

        Dearest Dark,

Do not attempt to self-exorcise. One of the many pastors of Landover Baptist, because of their extreme love of our Savior, is more than willing to assist you. They do this not for their own glory, but for the glory of God.

The fact that it will cost you a pretty penny is by no means proof that we are all about money - nay, indeed, the fee that is charged goes to clothe the needy (Pastor Zeke is hard to fit in Armani) and support Paula Deen's legal fund. Hallelujah, serving God can truly work for the good of this old world! Thank You, Jesus!

Know that you will be in my prayers. Have you a wife?

Thank you for keeping me in your prayers, and no I have not a wife, I have yet to find a partner on the outs of my sinful days. I have contacted my local priest and he is going to try to expel this spirit out of me in the morning, though I fear as though it may be too late, hence me trying anything. I have been getting very despera Prepare. For. Darkness.

Welcome to our forums, dear! Any friend of is a friend of mine! I loved your testimony. So heart-felt and full of the Spirit! Tell us, how do you most enjoy sharing the Word with your heathen friends and family and co-workers now that you are wiser than they (Proverbs 9:10)?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Being completely honest, I am still alittle bit over my head, as said earlier this is my "real" introduction to this, still trying to develop healthy baptist habits, being completely honest me trying to spread the good word to my friends and family will come once I feel comfortable here.

                    Welcome, friend.

I know the angels in heaven rejoice as you have turned your back on your atheistic damnable ways. Luke 15:7

I do so hope you are reading your KJV cover to cover. It's really the only way to feel comfort in the presence of God's Elect.

It's not enough to be merely sanctimonious as a Christian. You have to be able to back it up with cold hard facts from God's Holy Word.

That is what we are in the business of here, chief. If you think you can hack it, feel free to run the gauntlet. Being a lifelong atheist puts you at a disadvantage over us who were strongly encouraged to find Jesus at a young age, but it has been done plenty of times.

Heck, there's even an atheist floating around here. We keep him because he knows the Bible well.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

That, and Jesus will probably spring for an extra wing on the golden mansions He's preparing for us in Heaven once we win Didymus' soul for the Kingdom...

That is a strong testimony my friend. HALLELUJAH!!!

Your story is not very difficult to believe. I never before thought that listening heavy metal has actual connection to a childhood in catlick church, but that is quite natural, those priests insert rectal demons inside altar boys, and when those demons affect to a young boy, it is clear that listening heavy metal in older years is coming along.

For example Paul McCartney is cathlick.

Sorry for the delay, I just got back from my local church for a meeting had with the local pastor, I don't remember much of what happened but I do remember that he said that is was successful and I shouldn't have anymore behavioral ticks and blind spots in my day. Also sorry but I don't like giving out my age on the internet, I know this is a safe place and all but it is just a habit I formed and I would like to stick to it. Really I just enjoy being anonymous on the internet.

What was successful? An exorcism? I hope for your sake that this pastor of yours is a true Christian and knows what he's doing - and isn't a lapsed cathylick in disguise.

You should have gone to Freehold and had it done by an LBC pastor. For a measly couple thousand dollars, you could rest assured that it was done right. My guess is that withing a week, you'll be stream-vomiting pea soup and turning your head 360 degrees.
