  • Hello from the Tarantula Nebula

Hello! I am 23 and am Saved and Baptized!!! I love Jesus!

I am a student and love to have fun! However, I am living alone at the moment and hardly ever get to see my friends, so my life is a bit lonely.

I love to draw, write, and play video games, but my poor health makes doing those things, along with daily tasks, quite difficult. I do also enjoy singing. I also love fashion, music, and many other things.

I always say my prayers before eating and before bedtime, and any other time I am in need of Christ.

I came to this site for answers and suggestions, since I am all alone.

What else do I need to say?

Perhaps your Church &/or your most inspirational Bible verse?

It is not good to be alone and I know that the Pastors will have solid teaching for you. There is a contact option at the bottom of the page.

Otherwise I am happy to be your friend, subject obviously to your not being a slave of destruction

Satan presents himself through many cunning stunts as a brilliant thing but Christians have the mind of Christ.

Yes, but what's this "Tarantula-Nebula" jazz all about? Are you negro?

If GOD ever created such a place, he certainly never told ME about it!

While "Tarantula Nebula" does in fact sound like a colored name, what makes you think the Good Lord has to clear His Decisions with you?

Re: Hello from the Tarantula Nebula

I came back to check on this post after I received a private message stating that I had an "infraction" for not posting in the Introduction forum . . . did I post this incorrectly? I didn't see any guidelines or anything. I'm confused. If I'm not wanted for some reason, I guess I can go find a different Christian forum, but I was interested in this one.

The Tarantula Nebula is a nebula that God created that is out in space. It is beautiful! I was making a joke because it's my username on here. And I am a Caucasian American, if you must know.

I don't have a favorite Bible verse, just like I don't have a favorite color. I don't belong to a Church at the moment because I have been to a few around home and don't agree with their interpretations of the Bible, or just how they run the Church. My parents don't go to Church (although other family does) and they never taught me how to drive, so I can't go anymore anyway to find one that I like. I used to go to Church regularly, though, several years ago with my late grandfather in a different city. Recently, I left the country and can't understand the language well enough to understand their Church preachings just yet, but I'm studying the language. I have my Bible here and I pray everyday. In fact, the reason I came here was because God wanted me here. I have a mission to fulfill. Nobody but God needs to understand, so it's fine.

I don't know how to edit my post, so I'll put the addition here:

I forgot to answer how I found Christ. Well, it's very personal and I don't want to give too many details, but something really bad happened to me in my childhood. I prayed and prayed, and nothing ever happened. I became angry at God. But later, things happened, and I went to Church. There, I was Saved and rededicated my life to Christ in my early teens. I went to Church for several years until circumstances beyond my personal control happened.

I'm not sure why you doubt my love of Christ. Is there something members here do to prove it? I assure you that I am Saved and accept Jesus as my Savior. But even if you don't believe me, Jesus and I know, and that's all that matters. <3

Thank you for responding. Genesis is a great book and some of God's best stuff is right there on page 1.

One of my most inspirational passages is in fact Genesis chapter 1 and also Acts chapter 1.
                GENESIS 1
                1-5
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
6-7 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8-16 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17-18 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19-31 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

ACTS 1:1-8 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12-18 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
