    Re: Quantum God?

God doesn't have to do anything. If you see Him using a human to write a story, it's because He chooses to do so, for reasons your unsaved mind is not qualified to understand.

And you really need to research how Moses came to be in possession of certain tablets containing certain rules God wants us to follow. That right there is an example of God Himself --using no human intermediary- writing things down.

Writing them in stone, no less.

The tablets containing the Ten Commandments are all the proof you need that your point is completely invalid.

Its all in the Bible, friend.

Hello friend. I see that you have been possibly swayed by some palm-reading satanistic bloodsuicking necroticmancy mysticalismness.

    You must be from California.

    Leviticus
19:26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
19:27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

Splendid. In that case, why don't you go right ahead and be a street prostitute like your feminist masters want you to be. And when you get arrested and prosecuted, you be sure and tell the judge that because you are an atheist, that means you have no sin, and thus have committed no crime.

See how far that gets you.

I don't know what salvation means. Do you mean this salvation?:

    sal·va·tion
    salˈvāSH(ə)n/
    nounTheology

    noun: salvation
deliverance from sin and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ.

Because salvation seems to be defined by sin, which in turn is decided by religion, meaning, having no religion, I can have no sin. Sin is a moving target. What was a sin 1000 years ago? 500 years ago? 100 years ago? It's a sin for a man to wear women's clothing, but pants weren't adopted by the public until the 1700's. Before then, only men on horseback wore pants. Before then it was dresses and skirts for men. So does that mean when Tommy Hilfiger decides his jeans are made for a woman instead of a man, then if a man wears them it's a sin? Really? Tommy Hilfiger gets to decide? No, because it's silly. It's just another example of bad translation of a part of the bible that was intended to tell people not to wear a disguise to hide from military service.

Anyways, sin and salvation were both invented at the same time so a person will have need of a Churches services, but without religion, I have no need for salvation. I don't feel any guilt or shame for the way I live my life. So I don't need salvation. But for those who need it, it's a great deal. All they have to do is give the church a lot of their money and do whatever the religion tells you to, up and including handing your children over for slavery or sexual slavery, with the threat of eternal damnation.

The Four God Religions, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and the Mormons have lead to more human deaths than any other single thing. It's not even close. It's by far the largest cause of human suffering, since their invention.

You mean that someone wrote in a book that someone Named Timothy said something. I mean unless God's name is Timothy and he wrote the Bible, that is not God's word. It's men that are saying it's God's words, not God. So knowing what I know about trusting Humans to tell the truth, it takes a very long leap of faith to say that a book is the word of God, but God has nothing to do with writing it.

Like I said, it's never made any sense to me. Just like the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause and The Tooth Fairy, under scrutiny, the story just does not even come close to holding water.

I wish it did. I really do. I would love to have something that I could believe was really true. But I'm afraid that just don't exist. Not to mention less that 1/5 of the worlds population believes in the Bible, even in the remotest way. So I am in the majority by a good margin. There are a lot more Buddhists, Muslims, and Hindus, not to mention the religions of indigenous peoples around the world.

What all these religions have in common is that whoever "God" is in the religion, he has to remain hidden to all, except the "men of God" who seem to know what God wants. I think a real God would want everyone to know he was God. It wouldn't require faith. There is no reason for all Gods to require faith, except that they don't exist. That makes it a necessity. If God was real, he could make people obey his religion, instead of having sites like this.

I mean if this site is the Work of God, forgive him for how fucking weak he is. Because if this is his strategy, it's really weak.

When you fall, do you not stretch out your arms to catch yourself, having faith that if you don't you will injure your nose?

When you are tired, do you not willingly surrender yourself to the unconsciousness we call sleep, having faith that you will awaken once more in the morning?

When the traffic light turns green, do you not accelerate, having faith that the other traffic now has a red light?

All have faith. It is where you put your faith that is important. If you put your faith in the false cult of science, or in any other blasphemous religion, you will go to Hell. If you put your faith in Jesus and accept His path to righteousness, then you will abide in Heaven with the Lord for eternity.

This what we True Christians call a delusion: you have made an accurate observation but you have drawn the wrong conclusion. You have simply added something that is not needed. “Once Saved, always Saved” is God’s Word, and if you are Saved, then you go to heaven.

Pretty much everything you posted is a textbook example of faith, either based on your own delusions or the delusions of others. For instance, you make the following outrageous claims and then pervertedly refuse to provide any factual basis for them (Scriptural or otherwise):

Are you strong enough to point that high-powered perception at yourself? I doubt it.

The thing is, the evidence left behind shows the Bible was written by men, starting around 300 CE. The Catholics put the books together, but out of 30 Gospels, they only included 4. I have a problem with the self-reference problem and circular logic that follows, i.e. "We know the Bible is true because the men who wrote it, who are also unnamed, said it's true because God inspired them to write it." See? This isn't faith in God, it's faith in the Monks who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls, which turns out to be the books of the Bible.

In any event, there are lots of books that the people who write them claim they are true, but they aren't. The Bible is a nice story and some great moral lessons, but there is no evidence whatsoever that God had anything to do with it. It's much more likely that Constantine was behind the development of the Bible and the early days of Catholic Church, which founded Christianity.

In any event, it's that whole faith thing. I've just never had it. My brain just won't let me believe things on faith.

Any God that has Humans fight for him/her has a really crappy army. I mean on the God level. I would say other Gods armies could kick it's behind.

Only if they use iron chariots (Judges 1:19).
