    Re: Quantum God?

When I am finally in Heaven with Jesus as my drinking buddy I'm going to spend a good ten years or so laughing with Him as you writhe on Satan's barbed tallywacker for our amusement. While we drink a cool beer and armwrestle like men.

It's not too late to repent. Tim McVeigh and Charles Manson are there with Jesus because they accepted Christ before they died. You can, too.

Well, the Devil begs to differ. After all, he even tried to tempt :

    Matthew 4:1-11
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
    8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Again, exactly what I said. All words, no substance. He lied to Jesus, and Jesus knew he was lying and called him on it, so he left. The only power your Satan has over you, is the power to lie. Since I don't believe in him, I don't hear his lies or obey his commands.

Well, to my knowledge, there is no sacred scripture about these characters!

    Not true:

    Source:http://www.pewforum.org/2012/12/18/g...andscape-exec/

As you can see, 1/3 of human population identify themselves as Christian - including Catholics, who are not considered to be Christians by this congregation, nevertheless they are also based off the Bible, even if remotely. Given that Muslims also belong to the same group of Abrahamic religions, it's over 1/2 of human population who believe the Bible to be correct.

Poppycock!!!! This old Pew nonsense is based on pure crap. It's not scientific at all. It's propaganda by the institution paid for by Christians to give them the news and science they want. Show me the Pew research, not some webpage that promises it's true. It's not. There's barely a third of Americans that identify as Christians, much less the World. There are 1.3 billion Chinese, most of whom are Buddhists. There are 1.2 Billion Indians, most of whom are Hindu or Sikh or Buddhists. Those two alone are way more than the Christians, even if all Christians were all the same religion, which they aren't.

As far as the rest goes, Hindu religion and native religions also include beliefs in the supernatural, often including a supreme being. With the Buddhists, the thing is a bit more complicated, some denominations believe in a supreme being, others do not or do not care. Hence, only the "unaffiliated" people are the ones who don't believe in anything, that's much less that 1/5 of the overall world population.

That is over 1.2 billion people who are unaffiliated. Also, how the questions are asked and scored makes a big difference. The actual number of practicing Christians is much, much, much less. Only about a third of Americans are Practicing Christians. And for Europe it's even less. They are counting a lot of people as Christians simply because they were raised in a Christian family and say they believe in God. Only a very small percentage actually go to Church and follow their churches doctrine. In fact the largest growing population is that of the non-believer, now at 20% of Americans and growing every year.

Basically, 70% of human population follows some kind of a sacred scripture, believing these scriptures to be the true account of the supernatural.

Meaningless statistic since all these people disagree on what is the right religion. It leads me to conclude that 70% of the worlds population is gullible. What people believe depends on where they were born, not what is correct. If you were born in China, you would be Buddhist because that is what you would have been taught was true.

You must have been raised in a Catholic family. However, look at this congregation: here, they believe that the Bible contains everything God wants people to know. No intermediaries necessary.

No, I was not raised in a Catholic home.

So, if you were a God, you would prefer mindless, obeying followers instead of creative individuals with FREE WILL? Interesting. I do hope that you never get to hold any political office, as you seem to be a bit authoritarian!

I am not the one making people follow these stupid religious rules that make no sense. You can't say people have free will, then pass laws making them obey the rules. That is not free will. That is punishment threat, manipulation to force people to believe what they don't believe on their own. Free will is the freedom to not have to pray to any of these gods that every religion claims is the correct one.

I don't think so. It still attracts people of all kinds, ranging from believers to mockers, and I think the ultimate mission of this website is even for the mockers to stop for a second and think.
I don't know what you mean by "mockers". It seems you mean people who don't believe what you believe. Isn't that free will? Don't people have the free will not to believe and not to abide by your religion or your rules, and you should not be permitted to make them law? I don't mock your religion, I just don't believe it. Refusing to believe is not mocking. It's not being convinced. And everyone who wants to believe that religions are true, can't stand it when people don't believe. It shakes their beliefs when other don't believe silly stories on "faith" In 100 years the God religions will be dead and proved wrong and new religions will emerge because humans need religion. We even have a special part of our brain dedicated to it. Damage that part of your brain and you no longer have faith or a need for it. It's well documented, look it up.

You mean "Christian God" religions, right? Because as I have shown you in my previous post, there are many other religious people who believe in a Supreme Being.

Christians hijacked the Jews God and said "you have it all wrong, god had a son and you killed him." Then the Muslims come in say that the Jews and Christians both have it wrong, really God sent Muhammad, not Jesus. And the Mormons come in and say, well Jesus actually came to North America and saved everyone there, some how.

So when Protestants say the Catholics are wrong, it just cracks me up. Because the Protestant religions did not come about until the King of England invented it, so he could get divorced in the 14th century.
Anglican separation from the Catholic Church - 1534.
    Luther's 95 theses - 1517.
Various persecuted Anabaptist groups ~ Medieval times.

    So, you were saying...?

Over a thousand years after the religion was invented. So you are saying the Guys who put the Bible together and their leaders represent the Anti-Christ?
I do not follow. Just in case, the Catholic Bible is different from the KJV Bible, and both are different from the Jewish Bible, so I'm not sure which is the "ant-Christ" party you're referring to.

No, Satan has no power over me, because again, I don't have religion, so I don't believe in Hell or Satan. I would no more follow a pretend Satan god than I would a God god. I don't believe in "The Devil made me do it". That is how people avoid taking responsibility for their actions. The Devil has no power to make anyone do anything.

Writing them in stone, no less.

The tablets containing the Ten Commandments are all the proof you need that your point is completely invalid.
Where are they? Where are these tablets? I would like to see them. Because like Hogwarts,I'm pretty sure it only exists in a book, written by men, or a woman in the case of Hogwarts. Fiction is the only place we have ever seen a witch or a Unicorn.

Well, again the Bible is pretty confusing on this topic. We all know that when we die our bodies die. Now the Bible says people will be given a new body in heaven Here's a bunch of references for you reference junkies:

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS (click on the underlined verses to read them) Our present body is only a "tent" which we will put aside. 2 Cor 5:1-3, 2 Pet 1:13-14
God, through Christ, will deliver us from this present "body of death" (which is the sinful nature). Rom 7:20-25
God has prepared us for the purpose of being clothed with our heavenly body. 2 Cor 5:4-5
Although we do not know exactly what our new bodies will be like, we know that they will be like Jesus. 1 John 3:2-3
Our new bodies will be like Christ's glorious body. Phil 3:20-21, Rom 8:28-30, Ps 17:15, Rom 6:5-8, 1 Cor 15:49, 2 Cor 3:17-18 (See Our Lord's Glorious Body)
We will be changed instantaneously when we are raised. 1 Cor 15:51-53
Each of us will have a unique body as God determines, just as a single seed produces its own unique plant. 1 Cor 15:35-58 (Think about how much more grandeur a plant is than its seed! See also Mark 4:30-32,1 Pet 1:22-23)
To gain our new body, our current body must die. 1 Cor 15:35-49 (See also Phil 1:21-23)
Our new body will be incorruptible. Our current body is corruptible. 1 Cor 15:42-44, 1 Cor 15:52-54 (In context: 1 Cor 15:35-58)
Our new body will be glorified. Our current body is dishonorable. 1 Cor 15:42-44, (In context: 1 Cor 15:35-58)
Our new body will be powerful. Our current body is weak . 1 Cor 15:42-44, (In context: 1 Cor 15:35-58)
Our new body will be spiritual. Our current bodies natural. 1 Cor 15:42-44, (In context: 1 Cor 15:35-58)
Our new bodies will be from God, eternal and in the heavens. 2 Cor 5:1-5
Like Moses and Elijah, our bodies will likely be able to converse with others. Luke 9:28-32, Matt 17:2-3
We will speak a pure language that we may be able to call on the name of the Lord and serve Him. Zeph 3:8-9
People who currently have physical disabilities will not have them in their new bodies. Isaiah 35:3-5
We will have no racial or cultural distinctions Col 3:9-11
However, not believing in religion, I am not going to heaven, so I won't be getting a new body. Even the Pope says Hell is not a real place, but a metaphor for a lost soul that doesn't make it to Heaven. Now they invented Christianity and supposedly this dude has a direct line to God himself. Who do I believe, your website, or the Holiest man in Christianity, the Pope?

See how far that gets you.
Hold on here, crime and sin are not the same thing. Sins are laws written religion, crime is a violation of rules written by government who has the means to punish you if you disobey. For the most part and after the Inquisition, we decided churches were too irresponsible to leave in charge of punishment. Without that, church can't threaten your with their god, because he never acts on their behalf, because he don't exist.

Come on, would god let a Church like the Catholic Church have over 5000 pedophile priests, in Europe alone, if it were really his church? Would God have let Jim Jones lure 1000 people into the jungle and force them to commit suicide, including Children? Would God let Muslims tie a thousand Christians hands behind their backs and shoot them one at a time in the head on YouTube? Would a real God let men rape and murder little children?

If living my life under the scrutiny of men, like yourselves who believe in controlling people through religion, or not and not having to feel guilt or shame for being a human being, I think I can do just fine the way I am. Besides it doesn't matter. Nothing short of Jesus showing up himself would convince me. If he ever shows up, I will worship him, if that is what he wants, just as I would any supreme being who has power over me. But not to men. I will never submit to men. I would rather die.
