    In god, i trust

    Hello everyone,

My name is Jean-Charles, i'm from belgium and i live in Waterloo (small city near Brussels), I'm an account and i work as indenpendant ( i have my own office)

But let's speak about my background and why i decide to suscribe here...

I was baptised as catholic but i wasn't religious at all and when i was 14 years old i started to listen Satanic Heavy Metal and i became more and more into that kind of music... I played with black magick a lot and i'm sure that i hurted people very bad in that time but i did that for pleasure.

I also played in an Occult black metal band, we played a lot around Europe... I also did drugs, drinked a lot etc etc

I realised that i wasn't happy and one day when i travel in the USA (most beautiful country in the world) i discover a baptist church and the pastor was very kind and he invited me for a dinner with his family and we talk, we talk, we talk... Thanks to him, he saved my life.

When i came back in belgium, i decided to change my life first , i quitted my band and burn my vinyls/Cd/tape collection. Second, i went to school to have a diploma...

Now i'm happy, i have a beautiful wife and 3 children but i want to study theology to become a pastor and save people from my country....

And my favorite verse is :

    Matthew 4:10
Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

    Have a wonderful day

    Mon Cher monsieur Jean-Charles,

Good for you! You've had a life filled with sin but you could be on your way to Salvation based on your nice testimony! Don't be afraid. The worse the preceding sin, the more Jesus is going to love you once you die and get into HEAVEN (in case you will have been saved by that).

    Luke 15:7
I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Please, be careful with theological studies, there are VERY secular universities in Belgium that attempt to spread the false Christian doctrines of metaphorical "interpretation" of the Bible, etc.

Three children, you say? How many sons and how many female offspring?

    A cautious welcome to you!

    Luke 14:10
But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.

    Yours in Christ,

    Elmer

        Good grief, a proper introduction!!!

Welcome to you, and congratulations to you for abandoning the death metal witchcraft and accepting Jesus in to your heart. Tell me, what kind of music do you now use to praise the Host of Hosts?

          Hello

I made the good choice that's righ.... Throw away my life of sin and become a friend of jesus.

About the music ? since i threw up my electric guitars ( i had a plenty of that) because they're related to that evil worshipping... i just use a classical one and sing with my wife and kids about jesus, saving the world, lead the people to the light

Hello Jean-Charles, how lovely to meet you. I live on the other side of the English Channel from Belgium. Maybe on a clear day we could get our boys to signal to each other in fellowship, using flags!

That sounds lovely. Do you have any recordings you would like to share with us?

Just a quick word of advice: we only use the King James Version of the Holy Bible here at Landover. All you need to do is type in the verse/s and a link to the correct version will automatically appear, like this.

            Matthew 4:10

As you can see, the correct version reads:

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

            Yours in Faith,

                Welcome friend.

All I want to know is why do you deny Christianity? What did Jesus ever do to you?
I have no problem with you living yet you people all hate God and love prostitutes. Why you even claim to be from a frictional place!
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                  Welcome then, friend.

We are suspicious of all Frenchmen and Italians here, but we welcome you here just the same in hopes of saving your soul for Jesus. Occasionally, a saved Christian will appear, as if out of thin air, in a country we have given up as lost. You may be the saved Belgian or possibly one of several in your God forsaken country. It is for those reasons that we put up with the vast herd of Europistanis who come here to attempt to vex us.

Tell us of your time with Jesus, living among savages, as you do. I favor the Belgian made Browning. Are you well armed?

I can't even remember why i denied Christianity when i was a teenager maybe because people of my country doesn't give a lot of interest in Jesus, that's very bad and that's why it's easy to fall into the darkness, perversion, drugs, alcohol, witchcraft etc etc... This is my past, i can't deny it But i want to tell to the people to my country to follow the right path....

Really? That is terrible! Here you only go to jail for shooting someone if they catch you and if the jury finds you guilty. The first is very rare and the second depends very much on who you shot. Even then, a sympathetic judge can make all the difference. Do you not have men's fellowship clubs in Belgium, where you can make friends with the right people? I know my brother-in-law has found it very helpful.

That is truly shocking, Brother. It would be enough to make you despair, if you did not have faith.

Indeed, we do have to be very careful in Godless Europe, especially those of you in the frictional countries like Belgium and Luxembourg. But take heart from the words of 2 Corinthians 4:8-11:
