Here to talk about the Lord

Hi. I am here to talk about the Lord Almighty though sadly can't quote KJV as I only own NLT

I observe and do my best to follow scripture and often in my personal life attempt to talk sense into nonbelievers of all kind but you know how atheists can be.

I hope I can share meaningful discussions with you about the lord.

Not to worry, dear. The LORD, in His Infinite Wisdom, has Immutable Sovereignty over all Creation, including the Internets. You can find the entire Holy Bible online HERE, as well as specific verses with their lovely search engine. Don't be shy, explore as much as you can find time for.

Stubborn and cruel and dangerous unto a civilized society. Yes. We are quite aware. We support all measures to systematically identify and record their existence and whereabouts.

Well "Bobby," perhaps you could reveal to us your Testimony. How did you come to find the Sweet Redeemer? How do you support your local church? In what way do you further the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20)?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Please tell us how He cured you of your vile compulsion to cleave unto and rend asunder the bowels of your fellow man!

A cautious welcome to you (sir or madam). I'm troubled as to why you own a NLT when the KJV(1611) clearly states:

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

AS you can see, by definition the NLT is in direct contravention of the the Bible(KJV1611) itself.

Welcome Mr. MacBob, I may call you Bob? Super

Well Bobby, I prefer to listen to what God tells me and do what He tells me. My opinion really does not matter now, does it?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Bob, son of Bob, you must rid yourself of that false Bible. It is adulterated. A King James Bible can be yours for a very reasonable price, or any local Christian Church will provide you with one, if you present yourself in a humble manner.

Have you really been saved, or are you a false Christian with your false Bible?

Tell us about yourself. Omit nothing. We want everything.

            God Bless!

Re: Here to talk about the Lord

I came to find Jesus through multiple ways that just told my mind there is a god.

When I was a kid my parents drilled into me how God loves and that we should repent of sin and escape from Satan

They sent me to a Christian camp where I learnt about God and decided to preach his word to atheists. Sadly, so far they have blocked me out. 1 and a half years later I got baptised in the name of Lord Jesus Christ I repented multiple times to him and now I see his work! Hallelujah!

I now still preach the idea of God to atheists (specifically my sister) and attempt to convert them to the true religion but as I said they don't follow.

Don't worry about me having a false bible as I will try to read more KJV.

I hope to talk with you guys more about Jesus.

Re: Here to talk about the Lord

You have to catch atheists at the right time if you want to evangelize to them effectively. Trans-oceanic flights are ideal because it gives you plenty of time to reach them. Framing them for a crime, then getting yourself incarcerated for a minor offense and convincing your buddy at the jail to let you share a cell with them is also a great way to get close to the atheist long enough to evangelize. If in a large city, follow them for a few days to discover how they commute to work. You can then conveniently take the same subway or, using a bicycle and megaphone, minister to them during traffic jams.

Welcome, Bobby, to our warm, welcoming forums!

I hope you have found your time here thus far to be spiritually exhilarating. There are so many forums to peruse; each one is filled with Biblically sound teaching and Spirit-filled instruction that is in direct line with the wishes of Jesus Christ Himself. 1 Chronicles tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. The Holy Spirit is welcome in this place, and He provides us with true liberty in soul-winning, preaching, teaching, tithing, maintaining our proper place above the lesser cultures, and most of all, praising our blessed Savior! His Name is Wonderful.

I am so saddened that your sister is headed for the pits of Hell. But take heart, friend! As Jesus blesses you every day when you reach your heavenly home, you can rest assured knowing that God's justice was done upon those that failed to believe in His wondrous gift of Salvation®.

I don't recall reading whether you are married. Are you?

As an unbiased Creation Scientist I would have liked to believe you, as you seem sincere, but I felt I had to re-evaluate your assertion based on actual sources. As it turned out, there indeed ARE eskimos who call themselves inuit in Calgary. Please, feel free to repeat my study that took almost two minutes to perform.

It is the same with the Bible. We have preconceptions and trust them more than the actual text, the actual Word of God. We rely on stories that people tell us based on their dim memories of the Bible and Jesus and are too lazy to pick up the Magnificent Book ourselves. To be a True Christian(tm) is to go deeper into Jesus, to see everything he dictated. Remember this. Study. You see, there are 250 inuit in Calgary. There are lots of surprises and wonders in the Bible!

For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
