It's hard to say don't stress over it and just be yourself but that's easier said than done, I know! I get nervous just being around men anymore - I never feel good enough. I don't know you personally but I've read some of your posts and what a True Christian woman you seem! They say a way to a man's heart is through his stomach and *bites lip* a pot raost with bacon instead of vegetables - wow! That's such a fantastic idea! You certainly are off to a great start!

Well, I am not a True Christian and you are. You sound very sweet and kind. The fact that you have dressed nice, cleaned your house and cooked what he likes are all attractive to a Good man. I realize it has been a long time since you have dated. Take it slow and be modest. You can use a little safety pin inside your blouse to keep it from opening or wear a cascading scarf around your neck to hide any improper shifting of the upper clothing. Do not worry about putting on a few pounds since your picture. I think a lot of people try to find a good picture of themselves to post and it is not always current.

Heck, I don't have a good picture so I chose this silly Avatar of a fallen angel - artistic rendition. The LBC has some fun tests you two could take after dinner to find out more about one another. I only got two right on the poo test.

I am sure some of the True Christian women here could offer better advice. Hope my blouse advice helps.

As you may have noticed, I've taken a liking to a certain member of our forums. He's going to be here tonight and I'm afraid I'll do or say something wrong to scare him away! This has to go right for me because I don't get that many chances!

I've been trying to "play it cool", as the kids say. He asked if I'm single and I said, "Yeah, I am right now." In reality, I haven't had a date in 7 years. What do True Christian women do on dates? What if he tries to do something forward, like hold my hand?

I'm a nervous wreck. I've already made one pot roast but I dropped it in the floor and had to eat it. It took 4 phone calls and a lot of yelling to get someone to go to the store for me and get another one. He seems like a meat man, so I decided to forgo the vegetables and replaced them with bacon. Do you think he'll mind?

I'll be wearing a nice skirt and blouse. The problem with the blouse is that the top button keeps coming undone and I don't want to look like a whore. I've put on a few pounds since the picture I use as an avatar. Will he think I'm too jolly?

If anyone has some advice or comforting words, I surely would appreciate them. I'll check back later as I want to clean the bathroom again.
