Leave to Mr. Fag to promote sinful practices. The link says every woman has a choice, keep her maiden name, hyphenate or combine--what nonsense. The wife takes the husband's name. How else do others know who she belongs to?
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Mr Mayor Johny,
I have seen a handful of women who hyphenate their last names or keep their maiden name upon marriage, and I think we all can agree what type of woman participates in this behavior. I think the devil has infiltrated their brains and he promotes this shameful practice.

What should a widow do if her owner dies? I know if raped, and not a widow, she is sold for $628 (at today's price) bur widows can't be sold. Well, not readily. And of course the brother-in-law is obliged to take ownership if no children have resulted. Otherwise, what name would be appropriate?
I Timothy 5:9-15 9 Let not a widow be taken into the number [of God's household - I Timothy 3:15] under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man, 10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work. 11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry; 12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. 13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. 14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. 15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.
