All my pijama are pink or white - except the short light satin one I use for the hot sweaty nights of spanish mediterranean summer nights what is purple.

But hey, thank for the coments!

My good sir, you're so confused. It's the other way around. The skirt is a mans garment that women, like pants, have adapted to them! Read up on your history! All throughout it, men have worn skirts and skirtlike garments (the kilt being a skirtlike garment, and only similar to a skirt).

You know what you are? You're a Trouser Tyrant! Isn't it true that everybody wore skirt-like clothing when Deuteronomy was written - both men and women alike? How could God condemn men in skirts when Moses, Jesus, and all the other men in the Bible wore them? Look at all the depictions of Jesus, all the illustrations of Bible stories, all the pictures of clothing worn in those days, and you will not find any of the men wearing trousers. The only bifurcated garments mentioned in the Bible were the short breeches that Jewish priests wore under their skirts during religious services, to avoid exposing their private parts when they mounted the altar. But those were part of the priests' special ceremonial garb and not permitted for normal wear.

Although the specific styles might change depending on time and place, people could always tell one's sex by the clothes the person wore. In other words, the definition of male and female clothing depends on the society we live in. Therefore, the Trouser Tyrant fundamentalist will argue that it doesn't matter what people wore in olden times or what they wear in other countries. In our country, trousers are male and skirts are female - it's as simple as that!

    How about this:

"Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together." Deuteronomy 22:11

"Thou shall make thee fringes upon the four corners of they vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself." Deuteronomy 22:12

My kilts are fringed. They are not of mixed fibres. You? You wear fringe? You don't wear those blasphemous cotton clothes, do you? Of course not. An besides, God knows perfectly well what is and is not womens clothing. So really, I'm that concerned with your incorrect assertion.

Actually, it's closer to a skirt than to a dress. A tunic, like the ones the Vikings wore, would be more like a dress. But the verse says, and YOU quoted it:

"neither shall a man put on a woman's garment"

Now, the definition of a kilt:

    kilt/kilt/

Noun: A knee-length skirt of pleated tartan cloth, traditionally worn by men as part of Scottish Highland dress.

Note the emboldened part. That means that by definition, it's not a woman's garment, and therefore is not an abomination.

Yes, it may well. You'll soon realise it too, in due time.

Or you're saying that all men who wear these 'kilts' are abominations.
