Ireland is the best country in the world. We got the Protestant Brits out of our country. We don't invade countries for oil. We're not fat. We're not thick stupid. First thing first sir. In school we are not thought about the Baptist's or many other religions. Ive learned alot from my own research trying to find my place in religion so to speak. As this is a mostly Roman Catholic Nation We are brought up believing in the way of the Pope and all his kiddy fiddling minions.

We are considered by others to be a Protestant sect. We claim direct descendance from John the Baptist. We were there in the beginning of Christianity. Things got a bit dark during the Catholic era, but we made a comeback with the easing on prosecution for what the papists called heresy to begin our teachings in open again.

More natural causes on a massive scale i.e. starvation and sickness mainly, although I grant you nothing would surprise me about Perfidious Albion, so you may have a point. And yea we do have alcoholics here. just like there is in EVERY country including America, so I dont know how you can judge us when you suffer with the same problem. only 2 nights ago, i spoke to an american living in ireland who is an alcoholic and homeless.. doesnt say much for your country does it?

Eh no, He did not. Jesus makes a huge difference between those who obey Him and those who don't. John 14:6 "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father but by Me."
