Many of us do accept Jesus, and there are lots of fundamentalist Baptists in the UK/Britain/England what ever you want to call it. My best friend is one for example.

I also am British. There are no true Christian churches in the UK. They all lie and twist the Bible to fit modern secular morality. You friend is not a Christian, if he was he would not associate with someone like you,

I am British. Some of what you say is correct:
The NHS is rubbish in many ways, but it is better to have it than not, though there are alternatives that would be more effective.

We traditionally drive on the left because if you are on horseback it makes it easier to defend yourself with a gun against highwaymen at crossroads (I know this is stupid, but it really doesn't matter as there is no reason that driving on the right should be favoured)

Football (or as people in the USA call it: soccer) hooliganism is a huge problem and leads to large amounts of crime and other things like alcoholism. Most major teams have gangs of hooligans, but it's not like every football game has people being murdered.

There is a lot of porn, but no-one is forcing anyone to look at it.

The Royal family is not inbred, but nevertheless the way they leech off our taxes for all their needs is immoral - if someone on benefits does it we hate them, yet we love the Queen, which is just stupid.

Drunkenness is a problem and there are many under age binge drinkers, but obesity is nowhere near as much as a problem as it is in the USA.

The rest of the stuff is not really true, and you are either misinformed or just lying about us, which we do NOT appreciate.

No, it's not true, nor is it true that we all wear bowler hats or flat caps and talk like Dick van Dyke. The trouble with a lot of Americans is they think the USA is the centre of the universe, don't take the time to research other nations and think all nations should be exactly like their's. I have recently been watching a television series in the United Kingdom - Living with the Amish where a group of English teenagers spend time living the life of various Amish families. Now those Americans I like a lot judging by what I see. I will get a better view of your average American citizen when I visit relations over Easter. It will be my first visit to the USA and I am looking forward to it very much (as long as I don't getting asked if I'm Australian!)
