Ok, now seriously (or maybe not): I've been reading this post from the begining and i have some comments to make (be prepared that you will be insulted)
First off all, I'm portuguese, and i have been in two catholic schools, one of wich of Opus Dei, and never have i seen such intolerance in my, yet short, life!
I think my dog is more tolerant (and let's be honest, maybe smarter) than most of you; at least he barks and licks people from other races, religions, cultures etc... people like the ones here shown, are the reason i became an atheist. Although I'm an atheist i respect other people religions!
Second of all, i read here somewhere a comment about condoms (maybe not but i just want to mock you!) How come you don't believe in condoms?! Oh right you only have sex with only ONE person and after you're married (I feel really sorry for you, you must be really sad people)
Lastly, i must defend my country! How can you be so stupid???!!! My desk is probably smarter than you, since it has my history book from 9th grade (i think it's the equivalent of you're freshman year in highschool)! The united states were created in mid 1700's while portugal was founded in 1148! we have 600 more years of history than you do! You don't have an official religion (whereas, we do )
I'm trying really hard to understand this forum, but i just can't, i just can't! This is just incomprehensible, in a normal, psychological healthy individual!
But this is just my opinion (crucify me right, wooooops, such blasphemy )

First off all, I'm portuguese,
I think my dog is more tolerant (and let's be honest, maybe smarter) than most of you;

Guys please, please don't feed the trolls! This sort of people are a minority and shame for the USA, I've been to the US twice and I can assure you I've never seen such rude people, and these guys don't even worth to know our History and Culture.

It's better they don't know where Portugal is located on the world map, so that they stay far, far away from here! Keep them on their ignorance!

They seem to live in a dark, sad hole on the Nevada desert and according to their profile pictures, the farther they went was the to closest

Guys please, please don't feed the trolls! This sort of people are a minority and shame for the USA, I've been to the US twice and I can assure you I've never seen such rude people, and these guys don't even worth to know our History and Culture.

It's better they don't know where Portugal is located on the world map, so that they stay far, far away from here! Keep them on their ignorance!

Well I feel ashamed of living in a country where people can't express themselves... Everybody has the right to talk and the Lord created all of us for a purpose!

I read the bible all day and I am a worshiper of Fatima! You should all go there to clean the mess that is inside of you...

Portugal is a great country and I have a few pen pals from there... Carmelitas are really nice to me!

My niece wants to go to your church and she is 15... How can I explain to her that she can't go? The Lord I know and love never would agree with such thing said here.

Brother Smith, I have been to Portugal a few times and I have to say that the food down there is great and nothing like nachos... The wine is really tasty, exactly what we want in a true house of God. Perhaps, Brother M had a bad experience but I never thought they were rude or lazy...

I guess there is a misconception of what goes around US of A.

This is not a good christian behaviour, saying such bad things about other people.
Mister M - God only gives you what you deserve. If you had such a bad experience in a country that, i have visited and it´s amazing in many aspects, is because you deserve it. Don´t be rude. You had an experience that is completly different from others, so don´t be arrogant and generalize to all the people that live in that country what you have seen.
They don´t like the drunk Brit around the streets, but they tolerate them because like everyone else they are sons of God.
They have tasty and healthy food, an amazing weather and they are really kind to people. Spain is more surperficial. Everything is good to be ok in the touristic photo.
People in Portugal are authentic. Women are beautiful. Maybe you saw someone from another country working at the restaurant, Portugal now is full of imigrants.
The video you posted with the "Macho Fantastico" is in Spanish. That is not portuguese.
Maria Galvez - Portuguese people may not speak spanish perfectly but at least they try. Have you seen a spanish speaking portuguese? And do you know Portugal? By your words i think you don´t. Talking about things you don´t know is incorrect.
Portuguese people like people from all over the world. That is a good christian behaviour!
Pastor Isaac Peter - Sodomia to spread Aids?! The only country i heard about a thing like that is in Africa, in the south, and they rape small children. People in Portugal are not freaks and know more about the world and other cultures than you do.
Heathen Basher- Portuguese language is one of the idioms that came from the latin. Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish all came from the latin and are different languages. Portuguese is spoken in Brasil, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea, Macau, S. Tomé, Cape Verde, Timor... Is not Spanish being pronounced by drunk people. That is rude and immature to say.

Portugal is a wonderful place. I spent there the most wonderful vacations of my life and met only great people. Sometimes they sofer because of the economic problems but everyday they are thankful for being alive and the sun shines. That is something.

People do get what they deserve: God is all powerful and knows everything

Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good."

If your 'friend' was molested he deserved it. God would not punish an innocent unless it was to teach someone else a lesson.

Did you even think your 'friend' was abused so that God could teach you humility?
