I do apologize if I have somehow mislead you to believe that I am a native speaker of English. Also, as I said, I'm using an extremely crappy internet connection, so I skip on proofreading. I apologize for that, too.

Me personally? In spoken English, I'm staining the purity of any version of the English language, as the 14 or so vowels are killing my tongue. One professor was trying to make me hear the difference between "knots" and "nuts" until he was blue in the face, and I still don't get it. Oh well. The students seem to understand me somehow, so I officially gave up on my accent.

However, you seem to imply that the American version of English is somehow substandard comparing to the British version, which simply shows you ignorance on the subject of language change. I'm sure that in your area there is some sort of a university where you can take a couple of classes in linguistics. I apologize for not posting links to some informative websites, but like I said, my internet connection is terrible.
