Oh, how I wish my arthritis would give me a few days peace so I could cross stitch this into a decorative wall hanging! Thank you Brother Alex for sharing such a beautiful and inspirational piece with us all!Let Jesus Christ Wash You Clean

I love this! I'm pinning this on my refrigerator! I'll cross-stitch it for Joanna's daughter soon too."Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands." Proverbs 14:1

Re: How to pray for your husband
What a great way to place Him at the centre of the home.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
I had visited heathen homes and never saw anything remotely like a prayer closet. After entering in and closing the door and recalling how excellent God is and how rotten we all were before He delivered us, how long should each prayer last for?
The modern hussy who spends no time in humility and who never prays—gabbling in front of a statue such as of Mary or of demonic hobgoblins is not prayer but plenty of them do that for example at "yoga" classes—spends her day shopping for inappropriate items & driving around looking for strange flesh & having a "career" and "empowering" herself has filled up her time with superficial frippery and if she has a husband at all devotes more time to looking like a tart than considering his REAL needs. Would ¼hour per topic twice a day be sufficient? Perhaps the deaconess could advise.
Thank you posting the list.

Thank you sister for posting this! I am getting this framed and put below my favorite gold crucifix on the wall. May I always remember the head of our house in prayer. Stay strong in the faith and love always!sigpic

Re: How to pray for your husband
Ma'am, if you are a wife, why are you a "Soldier" of Christ, as your username bears? As a woman, you are bearing Soldiers of Christ, and rather are a mere handmaiden of God, like Mary (at the risk of sounding like a Cathylick) who was simply a babymaker and womb home for the Baby Jesus! She isn't important, but her Son is!Originally posted by SoldierofChrist View PostThank you sister for posting this! I am getting this framed and put below my favorite gold crucifix on the wall. This is lovely! I think I'll embroider this onto a decorative pillow that I can bring with me after Samuel marries me.And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
