Another son!

Praise the Lord Almighty, for he has blessed my husband and I with another son! This makes thirteen children, seven boys and six girls. I am eternally grateful to the Lord for this blessing. Although I do believe He put me through some punishing, which I of course deserved. My labor lasted many hours and I had to endure it while preparing my husband's supper. A man's hungry belly can not be put off simply by childbearing. But late in the evening the Lord bequeathed me my husband and I with our seventh son, whom my husband gave them name David John. I thought it to be a splendid name, just like every name he picks for our boys (Daniel, Michael, Zachariah, Jedediah, Joshua, James, and David). He leaves the girls' names (Priscilla, Catherine, Lydia, Ann, Rhoda and Naomi) up to me, however, since they are unimportant and are practically useless as a baby. Do you ladies get to choose any of your children's names? Or does your husband choose every Christian name for your children?

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question about naming babies because I don't have a husband yet.
