Brother, that "harlot" is I, but the satanic painter disfigured me with that Indian get up. I am a Christian lady who is married to a good Baptist pastor.

Sister Elizabeth, that is a lovely drawing of you and that dress is gorgeous. Where did you get those delicate gloves from?

If you ignore all that sinful make up he drew on me, that's a good picture of me before I was pregnant. I'm not that thin anymore, but will be again in no time. After all, we women have to look pretty for our husbands, as well as hardworking, diligent, and submissive. My assistant helped me make the gloves. If you buy good satin, they will keep your hands lovely -- even on the occasion when the Negros are lazy and I have to help wash dishes or clean the house.

I love the headscarf and veil as ultimate modest clothing. It protects men from accidentally glancing at my skin and shows off the fact that I am already owned by my future husband!

                      Veil? Are you getting married?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Young lady, modesty and showing off are two antonyms. Remember, modesty is not only in how we dress, but in how we carry ourselves and behave. "Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement." 1 Peter 3:3-6.

I enforced modesty in my late missus by using a leather full body suit complete with hood and a convenient mouthpiece to keep her from yapping all the time. Locking ballet boots made sure she didn't saunter around lasciviously, and a stainless steel 'boned' leather corset kept her from being gluttonous. Topped off with a "electric rod" shock collar, I had no problems with her right up until the day she mistook canine Valium for Tic Tacs and died.

I prefer to wear long, simple skirts like this one.

I have similar skirts in several colors (excluding red) and fabrics (each skirt is made of one kind of fabric, obviously), and I have found that they are perfect for the different seasons while also being modest and easy to move around in.
