When you registered on this forum, you agreed to the fact you would be joining the chorus of Brothers and Sisters in Christ singing the praises of Jesus, and sharing the Good News that He is going to send every single person on Earth who doesn’t believe in Him straight to Hell.

    Hallelujah! Praise the LORD!

What does nail polish have to do with this?

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I wondered what your ladies thoughts about how nail polish fit in along with modesty. I have recently had a friend invite me to have our nails done together but I don't want to do anything that may come off as making me appear impure or displease my maker.

Who are you trying to impress, dear? Other men, other women, or the LORD? The LORD doesn't care what your nails look like. We can't know if He will even restore our nail clippings with our Resurrected Bodies. But we can know what He thinks of sinners. Study the Word dear, then you'll know what Jesus wants from you (obedience, no matter what color your nails are).

Also dear, come to think of it, nail polish gets in the way of housework...so if you have an ounce of sense, you won't want or need it. "Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands." Proverbs 14:1

What kind of a woman tries to pass itself off as a "soldier?" That;s just sinful.

                Re: Nail Polish

My thought is since women is supposed to do housework, nail polish is a good way to hide dirt until your husband comes home so you can do your work during the days without the thought of being dirty.

That seems like a good idea until you consider the fact that with all of the housework that you'll be doing, your nail polish will get chipped and will start to look bad. Nail polish is unnecessary for housework and only gets in the way.

I think women should show restraint when adorning them self.

                    1 Peter 3:3-4 KJV
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
1st Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

Amen! Nail polish is for lazy sluts who don't want to do housework!
