I haven't had a decent pie since the missus died. Deported one of my gook staff to China last week when she offered me a sushi roll. There I was, expecting a sweet pastry like a Swiss roll and the witch offers me raw fish wrapped in rice and something black with a daub of green bubblegum on the side. What in blazes is wrong with those filthy Chinawomen from Tokyo?

Esther, that's a lovely assortment! Make a cherry one next; nothing besides apple is more American than a lovely cherry pie! Brother Des, I just sent you a package of an apple pie, a cherry pie, a venison pie, a bacon pie, and a pecan pie. I hope that you can find a lovely American cook soon.
