    Annual Ladies Day of Prayer and Purity Renewal

    In many Baptist churches across America, the Thursday before Easter is dedicated to Jesus as a day of prayer and renewal of our commitment to purity and chastity. This is for both single and married women in the Christian community. The day starts with a prayer breakfast, followed by a speech delivered by a prominent and dynamic man of God (We are hopeful that Pastor Ezekiel will agree to meet with us this year in Dallas).


    I do not know if you will celebrate this day in Freehold, but if so, I know you'll be blessed. It is a day of prayer, praise, fellowship, sewing, baking, and then in the evening the purity service is held. I will be the speaker for the Dallas purity service. I can't imagine who you'd get for the one in Freehold, but I'm sure if you look around there would be someone worthy of the task.


    Please DO take lots of photos and post them here if you wonderful ladies decide to celebrate with women nationwide.

      I think it is wonderful when women enjoy themselves by keeping themselves to themselves to let the men folk get on with the more important todoings.

      As long as simple minded gossip and cake makery does does not take a more sinister undertow and become a bit of a hot bed of carnal lesbianism

          I would volunteer to speak, but all I have at the moment is a 10 year old sermon from my tent revival days about cultivating the $eeds of Faith symbolically through Holy Blessed City of Jerusalem Mustard Seeds (only $99.95 each or 10 for $750+S&H)

          While I felt that project really helped to enrich people spiritually, it is a tad bit dated for the occasion.
          Psalm 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

              How sweet of you to comment regarding the Prayer and Purity Renewal event. If you would be interested in being a keynote speaker, we would LOVE to invite you to one in the city of your choosing. I haven't heard from Pastor Zeke so perhaps you could take the spot in Dallas? One fun activity will be a dunking booth to raise funds for the outreach to juvenile boys. You would need to don a swimming suit and then you would fall in a safe, warm tank of water when those who donate are able to hit the lever that causes your seat to be released using soft balls. Last year's event was a huge success and many thousands were raised for the juvenile girls outreach. We decided to switch genders this year.
