  • I do enjoy a bit of French food

    Hello Sisters-in-Christ.

Now don't tell the men about this, this is just our little ladies' secret, but I do enjoy the occasional French morsel here and there. Especially now that Mr. Moans is no longer around to mind my curfew (and waistline)

There is a little bistro & boulangerie that recently opened down the street and I went off to sample their entrees. Sure, it is run by greasy rude waiters with questionable backgrounds but who can resist brie-stuffed figs with Bordeaux cherry liqueur jam

Though I didn't leave them a tip, I mean, why would I? I expect they get paid for fulfilling their job description, I did leave them a couple of Chick tracts in the event they'd wish to cast off the yolky hollandaise of their nihilistic Godless attitude or worse, Cathylick superstitions, and get right with Christ, as they do with gourmet cuisine.

I also left them this friendly Google review, which elicited a polite (and thankfully English) reply from the management.

Re: I do enjoy a bit of French food

Finally, a female posting in the female area of the forum. It's about time. I was getting sick of the sausage fest in here. It's supposed to be a place where a girl can be a girl, and natter on about all kinds of unimportant things.

You GO, Dolli. However, I do not like the French. In godless New York City, it's hard to go anywhere without running into someone of foreign ethnicizity. Sweeds, Pollish, the Frentch, Eyetalians, even Street Lankan and Finish (extremely rude and prejudiced).

When mother visited recently, she got into a verbal altercation with a French woman who made a snide remark about her hair color (off-blue). Well, mother didn't win that one because French women are just naturally snobbish but girl do they know how to dress. Most of them totally exceed Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada - and that ain't easy, girlfriend.

Well, anyway, it's fabulous to see a woman finally posting in here. The men should just STAY OUT.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

      .
I don't envy you Brother, it must not be easy living in such a confusing, dysphoric city like Joo York. Keep up the good, White fight!

I admit, the French restaurant is an oddity; I made special notice in my review to indicate that I don't normally find such novelty in Illinois.

You are right. The French are such passive-aggressive SNOBS! Their pretense barely veils how disgusting they are as a race. I miss the days when anything French was replaced with FREEDOM. Freedom fries, Freedom toast, Freedom double-doors, Freedom maids, You name it! George W. Bush dreamed it, now we just need President Trump to implement it in law, which I know he will do!

Sister, you're so wise for leaving just chick tracks than a monetary gift. After all, our treasures are in heaven (Matthew 6:20) so you are just helping their souls get there!

Somewhere I heard that the French were simply cheese-eating surrender monkeys.
