No - I actually like bacon - if I can find organic. But the combination of bacon and ice cream just doesn't sound very appetizing.

If I could I would ban you for messing up a perfectly good thread AGAIN. What's wrong with you? Why do you have to spoil the fun for everybody? Do you ever have a positive contribution to make, or are you just a dammed mosquito?

    Bacon with ice cream?

Sirs, while I want to ensure that my Daddy (and when my man gets back from Iraq, him) eat a proper man's meal, is it proper, do y'all think, if I were to cook plenty of manly steaks and meat dishes, but in a way that had low fat?

Is it proper for a True Christian lady to be concerned about the weight of her menfolk? Please do advise me here, I ain't sure if I should be punished for thinking of buying that George Foreman grill.
Forgive me for offering my advice. A man does not need to eat a cow everyday. The older they get, the less Iron they need. Not good for the health to eat that much beef. I suppose grilling is best though.

I think you are only showing your Christian duty by taking care of your man and his needs. The cooking is our department. You want a healthy man and a Dad, don't you? You should feed them fish a couple times a week to insure plenty of Omega-3's in their diet. This will ward off a ton of health problems. Just don't buy from factories. Mercury.

Don't buy that George Foreman grill. If you got a gas stove(my best friend) just buy one of those 20 dollar grill pans. They do wonders.

Don't forget the veggies! Roast them with EVOO and garlic, add a green leafy salad. Yummy. Can't go wrong with the Mediterranean diet. Don't forget the fiber. 2 fruits a day. They will love you for this. And be nice and bake them an Apple pie once in awhile.

ETA- there is also a few other sources for Omega's, but I figured they wanted the meat. :p

No - just pointing out that a steady diet of the kind of meals you're talking about is a heart attack looking for a place to happen.
