  • So, why isn't there a women's forum? Happy now, harpy?

I'm not questioning the wisdom of the pastors, this is an honest question. I mean, women have their own issues. Might as well give them a seperate place to discuss them. Do you really want threads about m*nstr*ti*n or b*s*ms in places where Christian children might run across them?

We Ladies have the Nail Parlor to discuss such trivias.
Our menfolk certainly don't want to accidentally click on something here and read about these disgusting things.

Our men NEVER enter the Freehold Nail Parlor.

My apologies to the Pastors for entering your man-zone but I thought it necessary.

What would they say that was of any interest? Pie recipes and tips on getting out tough stains would be a waste of God's precious bandwidth.

Re: So, why isn't there a women's forum?

Being a True Christian™ man, I will not even respond to this absurd question. It is beneath me.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

          What's wrong with these ones?

As far as I'm concerned, there are TOO MANY women's forums.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Brother Nobar, you are right, as always. True Christian™ men are so accomodating. I think we really should consider being a little less easy going and a bit firmer.

I'd like to remind the OP not to start his threads with conjunctions. Conjunctions are meant to go in the middle of a sentence.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Women have far too many issues, and Jesus wants to hear none of them.

                27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

I just don't think that women are smart enough to make any headway on their issues by discussing them online. Logic isn't their strong point you know. However, if there were a serious need to discuss doilies and clothes ironing, then you might have a case.

When a woman has an issue, God demands that she set herself apart, as unclean. However, the Bible here refers to physical contact.

Are you suggesting a virtual menstruation shack in the forum? That has to be the most bizarre, useless, idiotic, and . . . and . . .

Pastors, I've had a brilliant idea!

Why not set up a special area here in the forum for the ladies, and confine them to it during that time? We'd be free of the rantings and ravings of bloated and cranky PMS-ing females, with their mood swings ranging from sweet to sad to sensual to strident. They could whine and complain as much as they like (and believe me, they like!) without risking insulting a Pastor and getting the rod in trouble!

We could call it . . . wait for it . . . Virtual Menstruation Shack!

                    What do you think?
                    Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Because having a men's forum and a women's forum would mean giving them equal space, which would give the impression that we thought they were equal. We'll make no concessions to the enemies of freedom!

I prefer the existing system, where menfolk are expected to keep their property away from the computer during that time. Actually, could someone remind me why it is that we let women use the internet in the first place?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

I think this would upset dear Jenny D.

Remember, she has a place of business that deals with this disgusting subject.

Does she provide Internet access for the women? Do they come onto this forum while ranting and raving and bloating?

I've already suggested a Women's Forum. A looong time ago. But the Pastors yelled at me. It's not as if I was making a fuss about it, or something.
