Re: I accepted Mr Luke's marriage proposal

Best wishes to the both of you! Might I ask, are you sure about that whole Vegimite thing? Can't it cause a yeast infection if you eat too much?

Praise the Lord, that's wonderful news. Congratulation to both of you. I wish you two love-birds the best for the future, and I'll pray that God will provide you with several little soldiers.

I truly wish you and Mrs Phebe all the best. Vegemite is most definitely food of God. Sarah made me eat it three times a day as various different hors d'oeuvres .... breakfast lunch and dinner.

But we had three lovely perfect little boys. So it must be a God send.

I know that over the last few months my male whatsit is drooping. I am so tired bringing up the boys on my own. Being a Mister Mum 24/7. Never a minute to myself. Night or day.

It will be such a relief to have paid employment again so that I only have to work 9 hours a day.

Thank you so much Miss Annie.

Right now it is all a bit overwhelming - although not totally unexpected.

Mister Luke's boys are just gorgeous. And I look forward to bringing them up. I will always remind them and tell them about their real Mum who they so tragically lost.

Maybe .... maybe .... maybe God will give Mr Luke and myself a child of mine.

Yes He did. Praise Jesus. To a better home than we could offer here. To a temple.

    Psalm 27:4 (King James Version)
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

    Miss Charli.

Ours is definitely a match made on this planet that God created.

I can not wait to make you the official carer of my boys.

I do pray that Mrs Sarah (Luke's deceased wife) has been united with her kin in Heaven. I am sure she is.

As a "step" Mum, I will never replace her in the boys life.

Well, it was not exactly unexpected but none the less just as exciting. As you know I have been residing with Pastor John and his lovely wife Rebekkah since Daddy died. They live in Perth (Western Australia) and it has been so hard in the city for me. Nowhere can you get decent kangaroo steak or koala fillets for a good pie.

Pastor John and Beccy used to have the North Shore Baptist Church in Sydney before they came to Western Australia. And Disciple Luke was one of their parishioners over there. He and his three sons came to WA (for a brief visit) at Pastor John's invitation after Dad passed away.

I just got a phone call from Disciple Luke. He wants us to marry. Of course he had already asked Pastor John's permission. Oh sweet Jesus. I said YES.

    I did. I said YES.

Oh Sister Charli, I would love to be a bridesmaid for you. Don't worry about the date, I can arrange to have my affairs sorted out on short notice.

It will be so exciting to be part of your wedding, it has also been awhile since I have to WA so it will be wonderful holiday also. I am just imagining what a pretty bride your will be.
