Amen, Sister!! If men had had the good sense to not pay attention to anything that women had to say back in 1920, then women would never had been given the right to vote in this country and we wouldn't have offenses to nature like Hillary Clinton to contend with.

Really, when will they ever learn? The Bible is rich and rife with examples of women's general unworthiness ( ever hear of Eve, anyone?) and untrustworthiness (Potipher's wife). And yet again and again, men let themselves be led astray by women who want to go around telling everyone what they think ( nobody cares!!) and how to run things.

Please, men of America, don't listen to any woman!

    Exhortingly Yours,

    Handmaiden

Ladies what can I say, I guess I am a new age kinda Christian. Granted I want you no where near me when you are not clean, in the same respect I personally do not see why you need to live for 7 days in object poverty. To my dear Sister Lycia, I take care of the one's who take care of me. Sure your Menstra villas are nice and all, but given all the things that you do for me, well its my pleasure to comfort you. Now where is my pie?
You are not in that way, what is the hold up?

Oh Brother James, of course I was not reproaching you.

        You are generosity itself.

I was more worried about Janine. No one's going to marry her if she can't bear children, and really, how much does proper insulation cost?

That poor child is freezing to death out there in a virtual tundra, and mark my words, her father will do nothing but complain complain if no young man shows up some day to take her off his hands.

You'd think her father could show some CHRISTIAN charity to his own flesh and blood.

Especially if she loses a couple of digits to frostbite. Really, how much does a 45 Gallon drum and a pipe out the ceiling cost? I'd be willing to pay for it if one of the good men would be willing to install it.

If Mrs. Hutchins is chilly, she just slips a few more layers of newspaper between her shirt and sweater though I tend to not be around if she uses the the used fish paper. Truth be told, I would never know is she were cold, she knows not to ever complain.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Since you're female, I refused to read that post on principle, but a few isolated words caught my eye while I was scrolling past it, and it seemed sensible enough.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

I have said it before and I will say it again: "WHAT are all of you gentlemen doing in the prayer shack???"

Since you're so interested in what goes on in here, this site will probably be of interest to you.

Why don't you go hang out over there for a while and leave us womenfolk alone (unless you've brought blankets)

My Dearest Mistress Cookie and Little Sister Janine, I made a call to Lamont in Freehold. I have dispatched him to Janine's home with a wood burning fire place and ample supply of chopped wood. It will be installed before sunset today. If I may be of future service do not hesitate to call.

I have a question...isn't trying for a baby as soon as you give birth to a baby bad for your body? or do you give time to recover from your birth?

[now this is just a simple question! don't flame me alright?]
