      Re: Anniversary gift

well, guns are a right romantic gift for anybody. My momma (RIP) gave my Daddy (RIP) a new stock for his double barrel shotgun for one of they anniversaries? Daddy had broken his on account of he struck a Jehovah Witness over the head with it, when they came knockin on our door? Well, that first sinful trespasser died instantly, and the other one tried to get away, but Daddy says, "Sorry Jehovah, but we can't leave any witnesses!" and he shot him in the brain stem as he was runnin off. Daddy was watchin alot of action movies on the TV those days.
      Genesis 1:24
And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind: and it was so."

        Re: Anniversary gift

Friends, I got my 10 years anniversary coming soon and even I would like to buy a gun, at least a new for myself, but my wife does not have firearm permit that is required in this country. Of course it is really easy to get a illegal gun, but they are quite expensive, I have better things to do with my money like buying a new car.

What other Christian options you would suggest? We already have new hoover, dishwasher, we have a housekeeper etc. I was thinking buying a trip to some warm country, I could meanwhile hold private preying praying sessions in our house.

Maybe a pair of cute rubber gloves? They look pretty romatic to me!

I think she would like those. Only thing is that we kind of have unlimited supply on rubber gloves, she does have access to laboratory equipment.

I really like to eat her pie. Maybe something to do with pies?

                  Re: Anniversary gift

Angel, very prudent. New rubber gloves, a new bucket, mop head, all wonderful practical gifts. Why should your wife have to work with gloves that have holes in them, a bucket that leaks, and a mop head that is all but worn away.
When I was flying out to Vegas last week on commercial (my plane was getting its' annual) I was going to get my wife a gift from that 'SkyClub' magazine. Nothing in it for her. So I bought myself a nice Brazillian rainforest knocobolo wood (only twoone trees in existence!) humidor. It was a little expensive but I deserved it for having to fly commercial.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                    Re: Anniversary gift

Getting an anniversary gift is somewhat very special to those who will give something special to someone. Take some time to choose what you will give as long as they will love what you will give and appreciate it. Sometimes it will took you to have *** SPAM REMOVED *** to give the best that they can have.

Ahem, that link is truly disgusting. We are here to praise Jesus our Lord and Saviour not look at filthy loan sharks adverts.

Anyway, why would any of us here on the forum need a loan. All of us, here, are either independant businessmen or have inherited a nice pile from our parents.

God has this to say about debt:

                      Proverbs 22:26

Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties for debts.
                      Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
