  • Should I take a cooking class?

    Dear LBC,

As many of you know by now, I have come from an unSaved™ family. Before I repented of my sins and deceptions, I had committed the sin of vegetarianism (Romans 14:2), and the most "cooking" I ever did was in the microwave, some was pre-made mixes, the rest of my diet consisted of unGodly fast "food". Since my mother was working outside the home, I was never really taught how to properly cook a real meal.
I know that, in order to obtain a Godly husband, I must learn to cook, bake, and clean perfectly to keep him happy.

My question is this: should I take a cooking class at a community college, should I learn from various cooking shows on television, or should I simply obtain a good recipe book and learn from that?

Thank you in advance, and God bless!
    Matthew 9:12-13
    (12) But when Jesus heard [that], he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
    (13) But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Certainly no college classes, since they approach everything in a "multi-cultural" fashion. You might end up making your Christian husband sick with slope or spook food.

Television should be avoided entirely unless TBN has a cooking show.

I recommend "The What Would Jesus Eat" cookbook written by a Godly man, Don Colbert, MD.

Cooking isn't difficult, the instructions are right there on the side of the mac&cheese box.

Right. Whoever said women need an education must not have had much of one.

Some things very importants for remember!

OLIVE OIL - must use. Spanish is the best.

I always use LOTS of olive oil!

Salad and vegetals - is essencial ingredient of a helth diet!

And for a perfect wife-husband relation with cooking - VARIETY!
Remember is the espice of the life!

Good luck - I hope my advises are helpfulls!

Mac & Cheese is easy to make, but I would be ashamed if that was the best I could offer my future Christian husband.

I suggest you also avoid any meal that includes wieners, bratwurst, or polish sausages in their untrimmed state - your future husband may not take it well when you try to force one of those things down his throat.

Your pie, though, is a whole different story. Serve it to him regularly and he will appreciate it.

Brother HTannor is quite right. When you put out a spread of your pie, don't just slap it on a plate, dress it up, make it interesting. Be sure it is always wet and jucy. Nothing worse than a dry and crusty slice.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

And you wonder why you are still "esingle"? No True Christian™ man would eat this slop.
