Don't be conservative with the money you have. Trust in the LORD and He will provide for you. It is written,

But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

How has this been allowed to go out of print for...lets see...its now 2012(I think!), that was 1953 so... no, it's beyond me About ninety years?

Who is the publisher? I must find out.

Well. I've just read the Conservapedia article on these General Motors fellows - never heard of them before - and it seems they're actively marketing to the homosexual community and are owned by communists. I was going to write to them and ask them to reprint the book but now? I dread to think what changes they'll make

Pastor Ezekiel has suggested that desserts might well be a way to a man's heart...I'm working on it. Can't find much in the KJV1611 about desserts so I'm kinda playing it by ear. I'm working on a torte at the moment - everyone loves a torte!

After that I'm gonna go with Larni (spelt it right this time) and make a cream pie. Not so fussed on them myself - all a bit white and sticky for me - but who am I to argue? Cream pie it is!

How's this Larni, any better? Think I've got the hang of it now. Short sentences, lots of punctuation and smileys! Yey!

    You're hysterical. That's a good sign.

THIS cookbook is a popular one around Freehold, or so I'm told.

That is because you are a woman and all women are stupid. That is just how God created you, out of love. Why not ask your Pastor to select a proper husband for you? No doubt there is some poor God fearing trailer owner in your church who needs someone to clean his trailer. That way you can stop talking nonsense and start obeying your husband!

Ephesians 5:22 "Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord."

Whoops, sorry. That was a genuine mistake.

It's actually a bit difficult writing like this. But, what I was doing before wasn't working so, hey, why not try? If you think it'll help.

That's more like it! With sentence structure and spelling like that you will soon attract a manly True Christian(tm) man.

I'm sure a good home schooled man will overlook you obviously obtuse overly obstreperous observations

Wow, missed alot of posts there while I was writing that.

I'm not much of a cook. But from reading other threads in here I can see how important a pie is in being a Christian wife. Guess I better practice.

Does Freehold have regular pie contests? Do you accept postal entries? I could send you one over, see if you think its good enough for a True Believer or whether I'll end up stuck with a mudslime!

Thanks Lorni (I think) - but like above you might be better placed to judge that than me.

I always thought I was quite bright. Like I said above, I now see that was just a ridiculous delusion of mine but maybe thats part of the problem here? Old habits dying hard?

    I really don't know.

A nice cream pie would go down a treat.

Unfortunately my lesbo sense is tingling with this one.

I'm glad you have learnt something, even if it is not what I would hope you would learn from this forum. If you found me shrewish then I apologise.
Are you sure you are a woman?

You seemed awfully cogent. Maybe your brain scares off men?

It certainly won't Redeemed Papist. And may well harm, I suspect - although you'd be better placed than me to judge that.

But it seems the matter is, to some extent, out of my hands. All I must do is strive to be a True Christian and the Lord will bring my husband to me. Something to look forwards to, of course, but scarcely the only reason to become saved.

All this pedantry isn't going to get you a husband or any sons.
