    Giving Honour Unto The Wife

    Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
    1 Peter 3:7

    Ladies, the LORD has given unto us wives the husband He deigned to be our spiritual and physical head (Ephesians 5:23; 1 Corinthians 11:3) the one to whom we ought to submit without hesitation (Ephesians 5:22; Colossians 3:18; 1 Peter 3:1). I'm a romantic at heart and would love to hear your stories of how your own husbands honor you, as the weaker vessel, so that their prayers may not be hindered.

    Why, just last weekend, Mr. Etheldreda promised me to look into purchasing a second-hand space-heater for the menstra-hut for the winter months. I've never had one before and I'm not sure how I will take to the pampering! But Mr. Etheldreda has had his sights set on his dead grandfather's set of golf clubs, and has prayed unto the LORD to inspire his grandmother to bequeath her late husband's set when she dies (which looks to be soon). Not wanting his prayers to be hindered, he decided it would be my honor to have heat in the menstra-hut in these cold Iowa winters! How clever my husband is, to know how to identify my weakness in order to secure God's provision!

    I'd love to hear how your own husbands honor your weaknesses, and in what ways the LORD has blessed them for doing so!

          Now that is a loving husband! I don't understand these feminazies who demand to be treated just like a man. How can they race towards Hell so quickly when to embrace their God-given duty would not only make them happier in the short run, it would make the men in their lives happier too!
