If that was the case God could have put something like "the child" in the Bible. For someone who claims to take the Bible literally I am surprised to see you claim we should not take it literally in this specific case.

Very simple, by pointing out that 1 Peter 2:13-17 and Romans 13:1-7 are from God so according to Acts 5:29 we have to follow them.
