Good Evening Again Godly Friends of Freehold,
My goodness! Aren't we having an exciting time in Freehold? There is news about the election almost every hour.
I'd like to visit with you for a few minutes, here, about the Des Moines Register poll that was released overnight. Now, I have close friends down at the Register and knew about the results a couple of days ago. I mentioned to the Register folks how upsetting this would be in Freehold to have such poll results released. They have there own ideas and released it anyway.
I'd like to mention one thing about the poll that folks my not have caught. It is that my worthy opponent, Mr. King, polled very well among women.
Now, that suggests to me that all is not lost in my campaign. That is to hint that if more men than women vote, I will win the election. How does that happen?
Here, we return to the book we all live by, the King James Bible of 1611. It clealy tells us that women should not vote, but if they insist on voting, their choice must be determined by the man of the house.
I am preying that our families recognize the importance of this election and the role God plays in it. The Godly best to all of you.
Johny Joe Hold, Candidate for Mayor
