    The Tory Councillor found guilty of using abusive words against gay men by the Magistrates Court in Brighton last Tuesday has resigned.

    Peter Willows, 75, decided to resign from his post as Councillor for Hangleton and Knoll Ward in Brighton after a meeting with Conservative Group Leader Councillor Brian Oxley at Willow’s home last night.

    The resignation will take place today and will be effective immediately. Brighton and Hove City Council Conservative Group are keen to point out that this has been Willows’ personal decision.
    Willows was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £250 in court costs on Tuesday after being found guilty of making comments linking gay people to paedophilia at a council reception in May.
    All this poor old man is guilty of is pointing out the simple fact that homers are evil. And for this, he's fined £250 and driven from his job? Will this queer persecution of the poor oppressed white heterosexual Christian male minority never cease?
    O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.



    God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave.           I can't believe that this poor old Gentleman was fined £250 for speaking the Truth© and has had to quit his position.

          Surely Pastor, we can launch an appeal fund in conjunction with our British Bretheren for this man to try and get some sanity back into this world?
          We need to prove him innocent of wrong-doing.
