    Hobby Lobby and Christian-Approved Pricing

When is this picking on Christian business going to stop. Some useless atheist is now claiming Hobby Lobby advertises that is has slashed its prices when it never actually charged the price it tells customer it was before the mark down.

The Green family who owns Hobby Lobby is deeply Christian. If they thought a Christian principle was being violated be telling people prices have been lowered when they have not, they would not do it.

Falsely claiming to cut prices is not a violation of Christianity. What made Jesus mad were money changers. He kicked them out of the Temple. No doubt there were false claims of lower prices of things being sold in the Temple. If it were a sin to falsely advertise a price cut Jesus would have told us. He did not.

Just as I ate every day at Chick Fil A when that righteous business was facing persecution, I will now shop at Hobby Lobby with renewed vigor. Many people aren't aware of the variety of items available in those stores. I might even call the Greens to see if they'd like me to do a commercial for them. I may even (with the help of the Lord) be able to fashion equine dentures out of craft items. I particularly urge True Christian(TM) women to stop sitting at home eating ice cream and watching Maury Povich - and get out and shop at Hobby Lobby today. Make something for the men in your life.

Just be sure it's something a man would like and not glittery bookends or a hand painted necktie. We have our pride, you know.
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

God bless you, Brother Larry, for your Green's Hobby Lobby enthusiasm.

With Father's Day coming up, I'd suggest people look over Hobby Lobby's large selection of Christian crosses. There must be 50 different designs--crosses in every isle. I think they raise the prices of crosses at Easter so they might be discounted a little right now.

One thing I really like about the Greens, they have not gone bilingual on us. Their motto is, "If you don't speak English, buy your cross somewhere else."

Re: Hobby Lobby and Christian-Approved Pricing

God wants us to make a profit and sophisticated pricing techniques are one way that goal can be met. If a store has a load of picture frames to sell and they want to get ten dollars per frame, one method is to put the frames on sale for twenty dollars per frame for one week and then have a mighty half off sale for the next few months. Many times, just announcing a sale to honor some kind of holiday is sufficient and no price reduction is needed. Just because you are having a sale does not mean you have to lower prices. This is cutting edge merchandising and God is probably pleased by this work.

I blame the feminazis for this - they all complain of "gender bias" and want to become CEO's of Fortune 500 corporations and negotiate billion dollar deals like Donald Trump when they can't even ascertain the value of a picture frame. Is it made from quality materials with carful fit and finish - or is it some cheap Chinese knockoff? Evidently they never took a course in home economics and couldn't tell the difference between a ripe or stale avocado.

Even the Romans had a saying - caveat emptor, and the Jews never pay retail for anything. This woman's husband should have her shopping privileges and home budget curtailed until such time that she can demonstrate she can handle the task.

Of course your assorted Democrats, socialists, and commies are going to get into the act and suggest that there be only one picture frame made by the government, or pass the "Affordable Picture Frame Act".

This all pales in comparison to choosing the right religion for your eternal Salvation®.
