  • Multiple People Stabbed at Bible Study

This bizarre story is an example of why people should be allowed to carry guns in church. If the assailant knew that people at the Bible Study were properly armed, he would never have tried to attack anyone.

It goes without saying that this did not happen in a True Christian(tm) church. But it is still sad to see something like this happen.

Again, a gun to hand would have brought an entirely different end to this story. Those addelpated, anti-gun nuts seem unable to accept this as proof of the need for more guns.

It's horrifying what's happening in this country. It's insanity. It's tyranny. It's like the Chinese governments. Go in the bathroom and turn on the cold water, people! Unabashed Communism.

If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

We can bet Satan's people will have guns. We who fight for Jesus need them also.

At the church I attend here in the hinterlands, our Pastor has asked the congregation to stop drawing their revolvers and loosing off a few rounds into the ceiling whenever his sermons make a particularly fine point, which is fairly often. We had to make up a special love offering to make expensive repairs to the roof, to say nothing of the fact that all the bullet holes in the ceiling looked trashy, IMHO. Needless to say, we fear no depravity from any kind of outside communist agitators. We don't allow that kind of thing around here.

          LUKE 21 Jesus speaking
          17
YE shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Jesus is telling us something important here and I immediately wondered who "Ye" is? The scene is at The Temple; the widow has just been commended for her 100% tithe and comments were being made about the décor.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, MASTER, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

I've highlighted the words "Ye" and "Master" because Jesus was referring to a specific group: those who acknowledge Him as Master. There is so much hate in the world today, and hate always results in harm. Stabbing would be an example of that. And people get stabbed, shot, beheaded, poisoned, fed to crocodiles (it's a long list) all the time. Unless knives, bullets, swords, malignant toxins & ferocious reptiles have been developed to extinguish life (other than hair follicles) the situation described here cannot involve Christians. Surely in the chaos hair was been lost? Either in the scramble for safety or during the passage of a blade Christ's promise—if these were truly Christians—would never have been proved a lie.

          Multiple people were injured
          ---"Sometimes we can’t prevent injury."
That's not what Jesus said. Of course no-one HAS to believe Jesus. It's not compulsory to accept that He ever existed at all. But making up your own stuff which directly contradicts Him is to call Jesus a liar. In which case how can you also call yourselves Christians?

These are the Last days. It's right there in The Bible.
