  • Texas Man Found Dead in Woods

A 28 year old male has been found dead in a wooded area of Texas.

A mountain lion attack is the suspected cause. Now, in circumstances such as this, one cannot help wondering just where this young man went wrong.

He lived in Texas, so we know that it is likely that he was a gun-owner and a Christian. Yet, The Good Lord allowed this to happen.

Is it possible that he mocked some honored man of God? We know how swiftly and ferociously The Lord responds to something like that. (2 Kings 2: 23-25)

It just goes to show how serious a matter it is to Jesus' Own Heart when someone is cruelly and thoughtlessly mocked.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

Sister handmaiden--you are a fine student of the Bible. Yes, it sounds so much like what the She-Bears did to the naughty little children who mocked a bald man. I have not heard of She-Bears in Texas so perhaps God used what was available, the mountain lion, as a substitute.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Indeed. I once saw a pigeon attack someone who was profaning Robert Tilton.

I've heard that black bears are moving to Texas in alarming numbers. (There goes the neighborhood!) If there are he-bears, then I'm pretty sure there are she-bears around, even if nobody has seen them. I don't see any particular reason that God wouldn't punish sinners using whatever animal was near at hand.
