  • Hippies Making Maple Syrup Set Fire to Minnesota.

All my life in politics I've tried to make life better for people. One of the things I've always advocated is buying food from mass produced farms and factories and staying away from "organic" hippy food. God put mass production of food in our country and we need to support it.

Here's an example of why we are safer with factory-produced food. A woman in rural Minnesota almost burned up her county by making maple syrup over an open fire. The lessen is obvious:

Quite, Mr. Mayor. Cooking is to be done in the kitchen. And leave the BBQ to the men. And don't cook maple syrup. And try putting on a nice dress.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

I must confess I started buying Aunt Jemima syrup. Once I learned it was made in 500 gallon vats by the white people at General Mills I decided it was safer than hippy syrup.

Oh, absolutely so, dear Brother Dr. Toole! I think this is just another example of women forgetting that their place is in the home, and not somewhere out in the wild woods, boiling pots over an open fire. For one thing, how are the husband and kiddies supposed to enjoy their dinner, when they have to eat outdoors whilst wearing their snowsuits?

        Titus 2:4,5:
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of be not blasphemed.

Now, as you shall see in the video that I am including, it appears that this "rebellious woman" theme seems to be a trend that is underway. I remember my sister (Agatha) mentioned something about how they were doing this syrup-making when she lived up in that -forsaken Canada. I've searched about, and I've found a video that shows that this is still taking place. The part that gets me, is that the women start off by boiling their syrup over a fire. Is it any wonder the forests are going up in flames? But, then they show a "modern" method, where they connect the maple trees with rubber tubing, making another mess.

Oh, yes, you are so right here, dear Brother Mayor Hold. For one thing, we can be assured of only "top quality" with the Aunt Jemima syrup. General Mills knows what is best for the citizens of ! Goodness only knows what is in those bottles of the real syrup.

And, if you will notice the video that I've included, something that I cannot understand is this: where are all of those "organic" hippie people, the ones who are forever protesting, and wanting everything to be "natural"? I don't see them being upset with the way those poor maple trees ('s creation) are being wired together with that damaging tubing. Yes, by all means, stick to Jemima's syrup -- better for the environment, better for the trees, and better for us!

They're too busy buying electric-powered transport to notice how electricity generated to recharge exotic metal batteries chews through the environment (and the workforce)
