    Has Europe gone mad?

Deuteronony 32:7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

“Pish!” says your standard European. “Years impart no knowledge and our elders ought to retire gracefully. God, if any such creature exists, has nothing to contribute here.” We all know that grandparents can tell you more about family antics of yesteryear than a child. As they get older they get more interested in those topics whereas the child is more interested in where its next ice cream is coming from. I'm not disdainful of ice cream, many cakes are enhanced by a scoop or two, but would you want to be governed by the ice-cream-first principle? Or by someone whose life experience had the benefit of reflection on many generations, an elder who can tell you what to do.

I Kings 3:14 And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.

It's impossible to know whether that bunch will walk in God's ways, keeping His commandments so their days will be lengthened, or not. They're not even old enough to know if they'll be blasted in their youth for blasphemy, drunkenness and fiscal irresponsibility. Why would anyone take such a risk? Are there no experienced seventy- or eighty-year-old candidates to vote for who could grow into the job as Moses did? Yes, it could be recklessness, foozled teenagers voting on the basis of hairstyles or laid-back fashion choices. It could also be insanity. A closer look is warranted to help answer that question.

    Re: Has Europe gone mad?

Katrín Jakobsdóttir • In charge of: ICELAND

So awful that even Erik The Red went to live in Greenland. In order to do that, he first needed to discover it. So he'd rather exile himself to nowhere than stay here – or for that matter return to wherever he came from. But I think they wanted to hang him there for being a pagan savage heathen. Some romantic partners like that.

The question remains, then: has Jakobsdóttir got over her rebellious savage phase? Or does she agree with Mr The Red that nowhere is better than Iceland?

    You decide.

Xavier Espot Zamora • In charge of: ANDORRA

Stuck up in the Pyrenees and unable to decide which they'd rather be: French? or Spanish? Seems a pretty easy choice to me. Then there's the language. Apparently they were too lackadaisical to bother inventing Andorran so get along with Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Can you even imagine what a marketplace must be like when they all start haggling?

It would do your brain in.

The electoral outcome is pictured at left.

Magdalena Andersson • In charge of: SWEDEN

As the origin of Death Metal, Grindcore and crackpot laws enacted to placate Volvo drivers, Sweden's application to join the third world was rejected every time. Now I do have some of their linen which is very nice in a minimalistic way. Thick and easy to iron. But can the same be said for this specimen elected TWICE after a world record shortest tenure in office? Due to skullduggery by opposition parties on her way to get dubbed by the king, she wound up offering him her resignation instead. All in the space of an hour or two – then got herself elected all over again!

        The vacillation of youth.

Virginijus Sinkevičius • In charge of: (European Minister for) TURTLES

I am no longer surprised at what Europeans think government departments are for. Since this is a transnational organ, I'd imagine the salary is ridiculously high, possibly with a free jet. The aircraft are plain white and may be seen occasionally at airports such as Bankok, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Bermuda, Honolulu, Cayman Islands, Tokyo, Fiji. But for some reason I've never seen one in Europe. And they're not very incognito. Wherever they go there's a conspicuous welcoming committee, with signage, it doesn't take long to work out who's in those (usually weather beaten, so much arduous travel) plain white jets.

He's doing it for the turtles.

Jacinda Ardern In Charge of: NEW ZEALAND

Zealand is one of those islands stuck in between several other places, unable to decide which country they're a part of. They have names like Öland, Åland, Læsø, Gotland and so on – even getting their flags confused! Anyway, at least the Zealanders managed to get a colony but were there any mature candidates for election? Who knows?

This wretch started having babies as soon as she got into office, just like we'd expect from a rookie harlequin who probably doesn't even know where butter comes from.

This demogrphic really needs round-the-clock supervision.

Our final exhibit in this brief collection sees no problem with Neopaganism and the Bahá'í (whatever that is) but is responsible for decisions affecting more than just those reprobates. Will she have the sense to ask advice from more experienced hands? Although deferential myself in the formative years, listening to advice was not a strong suit and mostly I found it easier to go to a different continent than hang around listening to idiots.

It's not her fault she got elected but in her biog., I can see no mention of Church affiliation.

                  Re: Has Europe gone mad?
Deuteronomy 34:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

Moses followed God's Plan, apart from a shaky start in his earlier years which God did not overlook, and so The Israelites (who had an even shakier start) arrived in The Promised Land. They already lived there of course before they moved temporarily to Egypt, the main problem was squatters who'd moved in while the real owners were away. And Moses led them all the way to the border. That's what he was doing at 120 and he was not diminished as Europeans seem to think happens with the Alzheimer's and the general decrepitude. “Experience?” they may as well say. “‘Experience’ this!” and elect the greenest, wettest behind the ears contenders they can find – with increasing regularity. No wonder their economies are in the state they are!

The only question remaining is the one we asked at the beginning. Are they voting on the basis of fashion sense? Or have they gone completely insane.

I can only speak for myself: Bat shit crazy. The latter might be a Covid thing though. The examples you posted in your previous posts seem to substantiate your argument very well. A nice myriad of opinions.
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

The only thing I can discern from these photos is that European boys do not know what a camera is. Or they are too preoccupied by their mom's iPad or something out of shot to sit still for a publicity headshot they taxpayers paid for. The dótty girl also seems to have been startled by something. Probably a kewl lego dinosaur.

It's no wonder we're on the verge of World War III.

Marine Le Pen will replace Macron soon, shout glory! Then France will withdraw from the EU and join the war on the side of Russia. Nazi Olaf Scholz will be left holding the bag and it will be obvious to the rest of the world that the Jew-controlled European Union has been the Fourth Reich all along.
I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
                        Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!

Thank you for bringing her to our attention. According to her biography she combines art and poetry "by looking holistically at issues artists could bring new perspectives." This is something we at Landover are especially interested in.

Did no kind grandmother ever tell her that a woman with such a nose should tilt her head down, with modesty, when being photographed? Because no man worth marrying wants to look up a woman's nose.
