    Let me get this straight, an old, strong male abuses a child of no relation to him (a child whose only sin was that he was crying) and this is condoned, neigh, encouraged?? This makes me cry, somebody slap me... line up in an orderly fashion though, please...

    Joel 3:19 - Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

    And the all famous Matt 19:14 - But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

    I can quote many more, but the bottom line is children are innocent. If that man touched my child while he was crying... hold me back!!!

    I totally agree Brother Robert.
    The man was trying to help that child, and the parents should be eternally grateful.

    I believe the parents should be punished, and this man lauded! He saw she was posessed and knew demons cannot stand the pain of a righteous hand across their victims' face! The family is the one who endangered the child by not reporting an obvious posession, and actually bringing the child, who spoke in tongues and wailed of the fires of hell!

    I believe that the man's mistake was using his open hand, rather than using a KJV1611 Bible.

    Now I realize that mere contact with the True Bible can sometimes cause extensive burns on the demonspawn, but the cleansing Holy fire is well worth the temporary pain to the infested brat, especially if it drives the demon out.

    For infants too young to benefit from the therapeutic slap technique, I have found Benedryl and/or NyQuil highly effective in squelching even the most obstreperous brat, and for 8 to 12 hours at a time !!

    Ah, Pastor Isaac. A kid who's a deliberate hell-raiser needs a different brand of guidance than children and teens who aren't. Effective and loving discipline is very individual to the child.

    And I'm proud of Pastor Zeke whether he, or you, feel he needs it or not.

    Pastor! That's terrible. I'm so proud of you for coming through that kind of upbringing so well as you did.

    Dads can get their points across much better with encouragement and guidance, and living by example, than by ..... that.
