Not satisfied with being released from Guantanamo, some terrorist is attempting to Jew money out of his employers for calling him a terrorist. The mind boggles.
If this was "one of the most distressing episodes of his life", clearly detainee 948 hasn't been subjected to anywhere near enough waterboarding. And I don't like the sound of this "insurance policy to be marketed to British Muslims" either - are they developing a special policy so towelheads can insure themselves against blowing themselves up or something?
A city high-flier has launched a racism claim against a leading British insurer after being welcomed to the office as "Guantanamo detainee 948".
Anwar Khan, 24 - who shares his name with an Afghan at the US detention camp - said he suffered one of the most distressing episodes of his life at Royal & SunAlliance. He has launched grievance proceedings against it.
Mr Khan, from central London, said he was sent an email with a link to the Wikipedia page for detainee 948.
He added: "On 18 September I was welcomed into the office ... with a colleague from a different team shouting, 'So they have released you from Guantanamo Bay.' I was shocked and speechless. How do you respond to something like this?"
Mr Khan, who had been developing an insurance policy to be marketed to British Muslims, said he was also told: "Hello Anwar Khan detainee 948" and "You have already served your time at Guantanamo Bay?"
He left the firm last month and joined a leading management consultancy.
