    SPRING MILLS, Pa. (AP) — A Westmoreland County man is having a memorable 2007 bear season. Tom Wisniowski bagged a rare albino black bear Monday on the season's opening day. The female cub weighed 47 pounds.
    Wisniowski told The Sentinel in Lewistown that conditions were difficult and at first he thought he was looking at a coyote. But when the bear got a bit closer, he could tell it was an unusual bear.
    Wisniowski was hunting with Jeff Gowen of Evansburg and Richard Marther and Andrew Duncan, both of Erie. All four killed bear while hunting together in Centre County.


    Rare, albino female cub. good thing they shot it before it could reproduce. who knows what horrors might have been unleashed if theyd let it live.

      "Albino Black Bear" - huh? I'm used to condradictions and hypocracy from the liberal media, but this is a new low.

      Anyway, nearly all animals already are white. Some have black hair, or brown hair, or feathers, but their skin is white. Just more proof that White People are God's creation and Brown People were created by fallen angels.

      Albinos are demonic freaks though, no doubt about it. This is the one and only thing Hollywood and I agree on. Albinos are evil.

              I am impressed! That would make a very nice mount. I pray that he has it taxidermied properly and displays the mount appropriately in his local hunt club before retiring it to the smoking room at his house.
              I would have loved to be the one who tagged a bear especially a rare one. Very nice.
