A TEENAGE schoolgirl has shocked her family and friends by leaving home to live with her 49-year-old religious education teacher.
Jess Anderson, 16, moved in with father-of-two Clive Richards just three days after his third wife left their rented home in Goldsithney, Cornwall last month.
The teenager's family said they had no idea about their daughter's relationship with her teacher until she sent them an email saying she had left home.
"We are going out of our minds with worry, and they are living just half a mile away,'' Jess's mother Frances Hichens told The Daily Mail.
"It is like grieving, only worse, because there is no end in sight.
"I love her so much - we all do. We just want her back.''
Mrs Hichens has been told by police that she has no legal right to stop her daughter leaving home because at 16 she is considered old enough to decide where she lives.
