          Actually sister, It looks about right to me. Though to be fair it does look on the lighter side of what God commands.

          The Scriptures dealing with corporal punishment refer to the use of a rod (Proverbs 10:13; 13:24; 22:15; 23:13-14; 29:15). The word refers to a small branch from a tree or bush (see Jeremiah 1:11 or Genesis 30:37). In modern English we usually call it a switch. You want one that is about a quarter-inch in diameter and about eighteen to twenty-four inches long. It should be big enough not to break in usage, but still flexible. However, it shouldn't be so flexible that it becomes a whip. Fresh, green wood works best.

          The only thing that 'struck' me as fake about the picture was how well dressed the negress appears to be for a slave. Did you notice that too?

              You know, sister Thumper and I did a similar routine at Dr. DeVille's blackface party last week. She was the negress slave girl and I was the might White "massa". Her makeup was hilarious and her tattered dress pleasing to the eye. Just for fun, I gave her a few real whacks with my "pimp cane" during the party.

              She'll be out of the hospital in a few days.

                  And what's this about Scotland having to apologise for slavery? Have these people ever heard of the Bible?

                      Of all the things Scotland has to apologize for, and the list is staggeringly long, I should think slavery would be towards the bottom.

                      And no, the Holy Word of God has yet to reach that particular island, so far as I know. I'm not sure anyone there speaks American, so....

                          I think it's impervious to God's True Word, the King James Bible. King James first proposed a project to give us the True Bible while he was in Scotland, but it didn't happen until he reached England. That suggests to me that the devil has a very powerful grip on the land of men in pleated skirts.
                          This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

                              If anyone can come up with a way to deep-fry God's Word, we may be able to make some progress over there.
