    slave owners in England prosecuted

This is terrible news, these slave owners in England was just using their Biblical rights to own slaves, and they get prosecuted for it

Five people are arrested in a raid at a Bedfordshire travellers' site where 24 men suspected of being held against their will - some for up to 15 years - have been found.

Four men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of committing slavery offences in the raid at Greenacre travellers' site, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, on Sunday.

The men, who are English, Polish and Romanian, were found in "filthy and cramped" conditions, police said.

Detectives believe some may have been there for up to 15 years.

Those arrested are being held on suspicion of committing offences under the Slavery and Servitude Act 2010.

They are being held at police stations across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Weapons, drugs and money were also found at the site, police said.

More than 200 officers were involved in the raids.

As long as they followed Gods laws on how to treat slaves, i can't see anything wrong with this

These so called slaves were provided with ample housing, food and clothing. How is this slavery in any case?

God is quite clear on slavery:

      LEVITICUS 25
      45
Moreouer, of the children of the strangers that do soiourne among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shalbe your possession.
46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherite them for a possession, they shal bee your bondmen for euer: but ouer your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one ouer another with rigour.

Indeed young lady He is, however, these so called slaves were actually delinquents and foreigners who were being provided for by generous Christian benefactors. Truly it is an evil hour when providers of charity are struck down by the rule of law.

I would hazard a guess that the majority of all people here has been or is presently in a similar situation. It is called family. For the first 18 years of your life you are supplied room and board, you are expected to accomplish certain unpaid tasks to be a part of this family dynamic. Slavery was never mentioned then. If so the British government[spelled tax payers] insists on calling this slavery it will end up paying slavery reparations to every citizen in their country. It is a very steep and slippery slope calling this slavery.

These people are being punished for hitting their slaves. Why is that a problem? After are they are their property. They didn't kill any did they?

Exodus 21:20 And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. 21 Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: for he is his money.

              Dear Honorable White Highnesses,

The Bible clearly says that all Whites have the God-given RIGHT to own negro slaves ("Genesis 9:24-27")! May something of color like me please beg for permission to assume that at least the Romanian and Polish captives were White? Can they ever be slaves?

              Most submissively,

I'm curious why the woman, who also committed the crime of being a slave, was in better conditions (not filthy and cramped) than the men.

Was the woman arrested a 'house' slave?

I quite honestly had no idea the Brits had made it an arrestable offense to be a slave!
