  • Christians Score Again: Touch Down Jesus Statue Rebuilt

A year or so ago, a beautiful statue of Jesus was set on fire by atheists who wanted a statue of Satan. The press incorrectly reported it had been struck by lightening. It was called the "Touchdown Jesus Statue" because Jesus' hands were held high.

Atheists thought they had accomplished their goal, but I have news for them. The marvelous statue is being rebuilt in Ohio. It will be finished in July.

Here is what atheists should learn from this experience: You will not win. You are losers. Jesus will prevail.

Almost two years after a massive 62-foot replica of Jesus Christ was struck down by lightning in a rampant blaze, the Solid Rock Church statue in Southwest Ohio will finally be rebuilt by July
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

I don't know, couldn't the "$250,000 - 750,000" for the "Quicksand Jesus" statue be better spent fighting the atheist agenda? Or the gay agenda? Or the feminazi agenda? Or the sex-education agenda? Or the secular-Islamofascist conspiracy?

Or even buying Bibles to distribute at public schools?
      Bible boring? Nonsense!

You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Honestly, I think a statue of Jesus signalling a touchdown will convert more sinners than anything else we Christians can do.
