. . . and prophet Max Pohman knew it was coming! Or something.

. . . the Lord sent me a vision.

I saw a large church in a valley beside a stream. It was white and spotlessly clean, with a beautiful steeple taller than any tree. All manner of cunning woodwork embellished the structure, and I was in awe of this glorious tribute to our Lord. The sun shone through a rift in the clouds, illuminating the pure beauty of the church and eliciting a heavenly glow from the cross poised atop the spire.


Then the clouds closed in, and I heard a voice from the clouds. It bellowed,

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

These, of course, are the words of Jesus in Matthew 23:27-28, issuing a grave warning to the self-righteous!


A great wind lifted me up and carried me into the mountains surrounding the valley. There, I was set down beside a bubbling spring. A fine mist came from the water, which I suddenly realized was steam. The water wasn’t bubbling, but boiling!


Within mere moments, the spring turned from gently boiling water to a jet of steam, then of black smoke pouring from the earth. I heard a roaring from below my feet as the ground became ever hotter . . . I stepped back away from the spring, and just in time! The very fires of Hell began to spew forth, following the waterway like molten lead. Animals fled as the intense heat spread through the forest.


The great wind returned and lifted me up again. Far up in the sky it bore me, until I could see the great church again in the distance . . . and realized that the fire-spewing spring fed the stream that flowed past the church!


I awoke, knowing that God was passing judgment on hypocrites, that He was going to unleash His Holy Wrath upon those who pretended to be good Christians, but who were liars and sinners in truth!

Pohman goes on to explain that God is smiting Colorado Springs because it is trying to recreate the Vatican, with all its depravity, here in the US.

I think you would have to conclude there are a lot of homers in Colorado.

Have you ever noticed the tight outfits skiers wear. God, burn that place down.

Colorado is where John Denver foisted his foul hippie music on the country, where Godly Pastor Ted Haggard was lured into the depths and depravity of homerism, and the state voted for Obama in 2008. That's more than enough reason for the Holy Spirit to send the cleansing fires of punishment to purify the place.

Where are they headquartered? Colorado Springs.

That's more than enough reason for the Holy Spirit to send the cleansing fires of punishment to purify the place.

I really wish Rev. Ted Haggard could leave Colorado Springs. Again and again we see him temped by sin. The temptations sent his way are beyond what normal people can reject. Ted, we read, tried to plot a straight course buy has again succumbed.

When I read: "two young adult men told him Haggard touched them inappropriately on several occasions at the church... One of them was a minor at the time the touching began" my mind immediately went to Dennis Hastert. But it's not, it's Ted Haggard. What a silly error!

His wife Gayle Haggard, who wrote a book “Why I Stayed” after the first sex scandal, can enjoy reading her own pearls of wisdom during the significantly more painful second sex scandal. Mmm, some comfort. I will be reading Gayle's advice as I hope we all will at this difficult time.

Let's hear how she struggled and overcame laying down with her husband knowing he had had homosexual s*x with a male prostitute on a meth binge. We were rooting for ya, Gayle! Knew you could do it!
