THIS JUST IN: Apparently hobos and bums are allowed to keep their junk.

Court Rules Homeless People Are Allowed to Have Stuff

Lost amid the uproar over other Supreme Court rulings this week was this: yesterday, SCOTUS let stand a lower court ruling that said that the city of LA cannot just confiscate and destroy the possessions of homeless people. Homeless people may legally have things, huzzah.

The LA Times reports that the case stemmed from a lawsuit brought by homeless residents of LA's skid row, who said that city workers and police came and seized "their personal possessions — including identification, medications, cellphones and toiletries," which they had left behind only temporarily.

In a 2-1 decision, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decided that the transients' possessions could be taken only if they posed an immediate threat to public health or were evidence of a crime...

The city, in a court filing, said homeless people defied cleaning schedules by leaving overflowing shopping carts and piles of possessions covered with tarps and blankets on the sidewalks, breeding vermin and bacteria.

The Supreme Court let that lower court ruling stand without comment, meaning that homeless people's stuff is legally protected from just being thrown away by the city. It may still be thrown away illegally by the city, or by cops, or stolen or destroyed by people on the street.
I'm calling an emergency meeting of the Freehold city council to tell them how to circumvent this ridiculous new law being forced down our Christian throats.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

All we have to do is demand receipts and proof of ownership. Without proof of ownership, it is a fair bet everything is stolen and needs to be returned to the rightful owner. If that lawful owner cannot be found, the items can be sold and the proceeds used for the Pastors General Fund.
As a gentle and loving Christian,. I do not want to incarcerate the homeless theives, instead Id like to provide them time in San Diego. I can drop them off (for minimal costs, just fuel and time) as I often 'dead head' there.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

First this devastating ruling, and now the Defense of Marriage Act was struck down?! http://www.vanityfair.com/online/dai...es-doma-prop-8
This has been a sad week for America.
This morning the Supreme Court of the United States struck down the Defense of Marriage Act with a 5–4 ruling, allowing the federal government to recognize legal marriages between same-sex partners. From here, couples married in states where gay marriage is legal will be able to receive federal tax, survivor, estate, retirement, and health-care benefits that straight couples enjoy. The ruling came down on expected lines, with swing justice Anthony Kennedy siding with the majority and conservative justice Antonin Scalia reading a fiery, 26-page dissent. Advocates will likely use this language to instigate a legal battle to rule that any ban on same-sex marriage is illegal.

I thought that after the mayor opened the forced labor vocational education camps, all of the vagrants and hobos cleared out of Freehold. I didn't realize it was still a problem. Why do these bums have to impose their unsightly presence on good, hard-working Christian folk?

Thank you, Pastor Zeke, for taking the leadership on this. It is something we need to deal with immediately.

The current issue is this. Several times this summer, old women living under bridges in Des Moines have wondered into Freehold pushing their shopping carts full of their blankets and whatever. Our local high school boys have had harlarious fun dumping the shopping carts and kicking the stuff around.

Just yesterday, Frankie Cownie, Mayor of Des Moines, had the nerve to call me to complain. He read that article to me about how homeless people own the stuff in those grocery carts.

Here is Freehold, we need a strategy to protect our young men from persecution for having this harmless fun.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Those boys have the right to have some fun. Whether its is with shopping cards from lost bums or putting soulless gingers in their place: damnation, shouldn't matter.
II Kings 2:23-24: 23And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

What people seem to be missing is where do these hobos store all of their ill gotten gains?

That's right: where they sleep: on the sidewalk!

And who's tax dollar goes to pay for the upkeep and maintainable of the side walk (and all municipal pedways)?

Joe plumber is paying for Joe crackhead to have his own mobile drug den and sex slumber party.

You tell me how this is fair, Obama!

If they have stuff legally then the next thing will want is somewhere to keep it.
