Between May 2012 and July 2013 there were almost 300,000 attempts to access pornographic websites in Parliament.

That's an average of around 800 hits a day, between 650 MPs and the "members" of the House of Lords, some of whom are bishop-bashing bishops!!!!

But wait! It's not that simple.

There were wide variations in the monthly figures – with a staggering 114,844 attempts to look at porn made in November, but just 15 in February.

Were the choirboys all away on holiday in November? And I wonder what happened in February - mass Repetitive Strain Injury, perhaps.

Several MPs also appeared to make thousands of visits to their own websites each month.

Well, that would cool anyone's ardor.

As a citizen of the hellhole which is the UK, I am in no way surprised about what our government gets up to. Legalizing gay marriage was the first clue that this goes on regularly though...

I have burned my British passport in protest at something or other - at my age, it is difficult to remember precisely what - and will have to re-enter the UK (in the unlikely event that I ever wish to do so) gaffer-taped to the bottom of a lorry, like some Romanian gypsy.
