Amsterdam alcoholics paid in beer for collecting litter

Alcoholics are being paid in beer to clean the streets of Amsterdam as part of a project partly funded by the Dutch government - the organisers think other countries should abandon "old-fashioned political correctness" and adopt the same approach.

Typical of the useless Deutsch government to out-liberal even the Demoncrats, but here is the proof. Plum government jobs are being given away to drunks on the street. Back in the USA we have working free market solutions: contract street cleansers, armed private security and new private prisons to accomodate criminals. But no, what do the Danish do instead? Give the bums a job for life with free beer. Perhaps someone can tell me - why do Europeans always choose the most communist option, long after capitalism won the cold war? I will be visiting Amsterdamn for research purposes to verify the truth of this report but alas I fear it is probably correct.

In the Godly USofA the Salvation Army would give them a healthy dose of Jesus and the Gospel before feeding these drunks.

Aren't the bums the ones who have littered the streets to begin with? And now they get free beer for clearing away their own waste? The dutch officials must really be high on drugs. Pick up the bums and drive them out of town, that way you get rid of the bums AND the garbage at the same time!

That was the plan all along.

Get everyone drunk and drugged and then "pay them" with the drug of their choice.
