I was elated to read Christians from Alaska are pouring into Russia to do in-your-face marketing of Jesus. Think of the potential, millions attending and watching Winter Olympics, all wanting to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

They will also be working the Olympics Village, tracking down homers to give them the message of abomination and salvation.

That's all well and good, but I'm ensconced here in the heart of the Athlete's Village where the real action is. Do you know what goes on in here? The Russkies are forcing sin-bags on everyone! Little do they know, I was able to stick pin holes in the whole batch.

Perhaps, just perhaps I'm saying, the TV coverage of the olympics will change from beautiful sport heros winning metals to the sinful sex orgies that go on after every event.

Winning metals does nothing to change the eternity in hell these atheletes face.

Not for any of the Olympic sports but I always felt God gave special treatment to football players. They are such manly Godly warriors I think God will forgive whatever they do. Now I don't have any Biblical sources to back this up but you have to remember that they didn't play football in the Old Testament or the New because Jews can't play football. I'm sure Jesus and maybe his disciples could play football but they barely have enough for a single team.

Mild Earthquake Strikes 2014 Olympics Host Sochi

SOCHI, January 13 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi, the host city of the 2014 Winter Olympics, was hit by a mild earthquake that caused no damage or casualties, Sochi seismic station head Yelena Karpovich said on Sunday.

“A mild earthquake with a 3.8 magnitude occurred at 8 o’clock in the morning. Small shocks with a magnitude of up to three points were felt on the upper floors of high-rise buildings in Sochi,” Karpovich said.

The earthquake epicenter was located in the Black Sea at a distance of about 22 km (14 miles) from the coast and at a depth of about 2 km (1.2 miles), the geophysical service of the Russian Academy of Sciences said on its website.

In later December 2012, Sochi was struck by a 5.6 magnitude earthquake. Its epicenter was located 154 km (96 miles) south of Sochi, at a depth of 10 km (6 miles) in the Black Sea. After the earthquake, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry launched an inspection of Sochi Olympic sites to ensure there is no damage.
