  • An Invitation from the City of Freehold.

This is an open letter to President George W. Bush:

    Dear President Bush:

One of the astounding things I've noticed about this Presidential cycle is your absence. There has never been a time in recent memory when direction from the elder statesman of our beloved Republican Party was needed more than it is right now.

For some reason, all the candidates, including your dear brother, Jeb, do not invite you to travel the country passing along your wisdom. Yet, here you are, one of the most successful Presidents in centuries who could guide events in whatever direction you wanted them to go.

I would like you to know the welcome mat is out for you in Freehold. We want to host a major political speech by you with national coverage.

Please contact me with your available dates.

    Johny Joe Hold
    Mayor of Freehold

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Mayor Hold, Did you "Dear President Cheney,.."?
    Mark 13:22
“For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.”

Alooney, thank you for that suggestion.

The distinguished VP Cheney is welcome in Freehold any time and is well aware of that.

VP Cheney has been in the news all along, pointing out the locations of the weapons of mass destruction that formerly were hidden in Iraq by Saddam. President Bush has not been that prominent. Thus, I think THE President of this century should be the one speaking in Freehold.
