    NOTICE: Presidential Portraits Installed

    OFFICE OF THE MAYOR:
Friends in Freehold, it was an honor today to sign a Work Order to install the Official Presidential Portrait of Donald Trump in City Hall, Freehold Public Schools and the Freehold Post Office. Freehold is the first city in the United States to do this--it makes me especially proud. I know all of us will enjoy seeing this splendid art piece of our beloved President. Jonny Joe Hold, Mayor

Thank you for getting this right. The wrong Portrait of Trump can get you sued.

I think Donald did the right thing by choosing this portrait as his official one. It is such a likeness of him--you feel he could step out and shake your hand exactly as he is doing somewhere today in his campaign.

As anyone with a critical eye can see in the portrait, Donald has taken good care of himself and looks young and vigorous.

I agree Mayor, it is a wonderful picture of our President for the next 8 years. Still, there is something about it that suggests privilege and concern for himself, even though we know this is not the case.

Would it be possible to have other photographs installed? This one really connects with conservatives that love Jesus. A simple man, willing to make tremendous (and enormous) personal sacrifices to help the common folk. Not willing to take even one dollar from the voters to get elected! The picture shows the sincerity of a great man.

There are no doubt many ideas on the perfect pictures of America's perfect candidate. Donald reviews many before choosing the yachtsman look. He viewed, for example, our beloved George W. Bush's official picture:
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

I think it's also important to show all the Presidents having fun in a more casual atmosphere. I like the official Presidential portrait of Mr. Trump in his tennis outfit, and I particularly like the painting of all the Presidents together playing poker and having a good laugh.

Eisenhower is obviously having the most fun, laughing at Lincoln's joke about "needing a four of clubs like I need a hole in my head." Teddy Roosevelt is looking sideways at Nixon to see if he's cheating again. Nixon is thinking of how he can get Haldeman or Liddy to find evidence to use to smear the others. George W. Bush wants to know how this complicated game is played-- it looks so much more difficult than Go Fish. Reagan doesn't know where he is, who he is, or what year it is. George H.W. Bush is getting ready to look at his watch and invent an excuse to get out of there. Gerald Ford is just happy they let him sit at the table, since he never won an election outside his congressional district. Fun times!

I do like the casual, sporty look for President Trump's official picture, although I am a bit taken aback that it seems to put his private area at eye level for some. As much as I revere him, I have no desire to stare at his massive bulge for the next 8 years (or more, when he changes term limit laws). Still, it is the message of this man that is more important than his likeness! Glory!

One thing: I questioned a postal worker here about when we could expect to see a presidential portrait and she looked at me and said, "Honey, her photo will be here when she's elected."

Obviously she didn't understand my question or - horrors! - she thinks the demoness Hellary Clintoris will win the election. HAHAHAHAHAHA. As if. The postal worker, a heavy-set negress with huge purple earrings and quite a wide posterior, told me that next time I am in her line I better be buying stamps or mailing a package because she didn't have "no time for stupid questions, fool."

May the LORD JESUS forgive her and give her voting wisdom when it counts.

Great observations, Brother Larry. I have been meaning to ask my friends in the Trump campaign who the artist was that prepared the likeness of President Trump.

Just speaking for myself, I really doubt that President Trump would have posed with his hand that close to the bulge. It suggests to me he might have unknowingly hired a homer portrait artist who took artistic license while participating in history.
